large Pokémon big enough to swallow a human, would they ever attempt to

there are Pokémon especially Legendary Pokémon whom are big as 16, 17 feet tall and very large. many are large enough to swallow a human? would a large Pokémon attempt to swallow a human irl or in the Pokémon world? what would happen if a Pokémon did (to the human and to the Pokémon?

While it would never be shown, it could happen, why not?
If it happened... well... so... what? Human would be meal for the Pokemon... what else should happen?
Human being miraculously revived and got the ability to transform into Pokemon?

Muk can smother you, Wailord could probably swallow you whole, Lickitung, and Gastly. There are some Pokemon that could swallow people, but others would rip them to shreds. Aerodactyl comes to mind, koffi~

If they were hungry, I guess. The human would probably die? Or try to get out. Hm. I'm thinking of a lot of movies where I've seen the hero get swallowed by monsters but fight their way out again xD Like Hercules. I don't really want to think about details of what would happen in the stomach of a pokémon because gross :D

Herbivores probably wouldn't do it though.

The only Pokemon that I'd expect to swallow you whole would be either Wailord or maybe a large snake like Arbok, but even the latter isn't that likely.

I'd also like to think that Pokemon in general wouldn't even try eating humans, considering how well the two coexist. And if on the off chance they did, they'd probably tear us apart to smaller pieces before eating us (not that that seems any better than being eaten whole).

Haha, Brendino is probably right. Especially in the anime universe (and possible game too), pokémon just don't eat people. In the manga though (PokéSpe), I think some Victreebel/Weepinbell were about to have Red for dinner in the first saga.

And yeah, choppin'/rippin' up your food first is sense even for savages. Well maybe not always. Arbok might swallow stuff whole since snakes usually do?

Due to the reasons stated in the above posts, I don't know if Pokémon would even want consume a human being. xD" If they did though, then I could see Snorlax being a good human-eater. Snorlax usually has a gigantic appetite, so it should be able to swallow the body of an entire human within merely seconds. It should be able to devour two to three humans at the same time, in fact, since it's got a big enough mouth to fit them all in.

Munchlax would be able to eat up a few humans, too, probably. It would take it longer time than Snorlax though, since Munchlax are pretty slow when it comes to food consumption.

Well Pokemon are the equivalent of animals except that we can domestic them at much faster rates with the down-side being at alot fewer. I guess this is where the wild pokemon thing comes in, we aren't supposed to go into the wild grass because we might be attacked and hurt so if a pokemon high enough level and vicious enough (Weedles or Caterpie) it would probably kill you if it had to. A lion will not kill you if it doesn't have a reason Humans are the only species of animals to ever kill it's own for pleasure but if an Arcanine was hungry or you hurt or posed a threat to one of it's own then it would probably kill you.

Well, I don't think that would be a sign of any kind of utopia but I'd sure like them to. It would make them more comparable with animals and less "cute cuddly kid stuff". Some of them, however, can remain herbivore due to the animal which they're based on. I can totally see Aggron coming in and smashing the hell out of a poor kid.
