Just reminding those who haven't prepared (like me) that CN will start their mega-marathon tomorrow at 6:00 AM EST. My cable guide says they'll start with "Problem with Paras" and "Holy Matrimony". So, we'll get at least some old school Kanto and hopefully some Advanced episodes (for that lot of episodes never aired on the network before).

The promo said 33 hours worth. Oh, boy.

xDD I saw that while surfing through the guide a couple days ago.

    Heck yes.

Hours and hours worth of Pokemon...

    That makes me happy. xD

I was gonig to start a thread about this too myself. Teeheehee You beat me to it. Teeheehee

I was hoping they will start with the first episode. I really want to watch the first episode where Ash got Pikachu. I also want to watch the episode that was my first episode ever which was the rematch against Blaine. Then there is the episode where Ash frough against the Orange Leauge Champion.

May I ask we include what episode we hope to watch too? I am so excited about this!!!!

I'm just amazed they're airing "The Breeding Center Secret" (haven't seen it in years), but not "Fortune Hunters", so far on my cable guide. I say that as that isn't on any DVD/VHS set. And CN did it way back when. Grrr.

Anyway, if people want to post as a certain episode airs and squee about it, I won't be adverse to it. I'll just lock it up after the marathon. Have at it.

I thought about starting a poll on the marathon, but I guess both threads would be a bit redundant.

Anyway...I would think that they would include more key episodes, like when Ash caught the three Kanto starters, when Charmander evolved, etc...but I guess with only 66 episodes they had to pick and choose more carefully (why they included "The School of Hard Knocks", though, I have no clue).

Oh, and looks like you're getting your wish, Reyna. Well, the second part at least. And for the record, I hold your cable guide in the wrong, DC.

I beat everyone to it. Yay.

Some of the choices were good, although, "Pikachu Revolts" and "Fortune Hunters" should have made it. Definitely should have added "Dues and Don'ts" for the inner workings of Team Rocket alone (ironically, the episode after it will be used). "Battle For the Badge" is a nuff said.

I would say the Red G two parter as that was the Rockets' last big operation in series pre Chronicles, but the Lugia three-parter tonight will do nicely for that. And some good episodes for tomorrow with Magma/Aqua. It's a good sampler, though.

And as for my cable guide, well, it was right about Matrimony being on second (I was up, because of a heat wave.). Although, it has been wrong before.

Ah, yes! I really hoping for Pikachu Re-Volts, I LOVE that episode!

    I also love Holy Matrimony, but it was on really early, and I slept through it.. ><;;

But I watched almost all of them yesterday, and part of the ones today. Or at last ones I really liked.

But I found yesterday's more amusing, because todays was all the Advance episodes I'd seen alot over the last few years.

I was surprised May vs Ash weren't on it, as Misty vs. Ash was, and May isn't in D/P...

I was really hoping for Gary vs Ash in the Silver conference, or some of the Indigo League episodes... Instead I got the Orange League championships, and the last half of Harrison's Blaziken owning Ash.

I was also hoping to finally see the episodes where Team Rocket releases and/or replaces their Arbok and Weezing...

I agree, Grant. "No Poached Ego", what was up with that? And No "Unfair-Weathered Friends"? That was Shelly's finest drama queen moment! Geez.

It wasn't a bad marathon overall, but here's to the next one.

I'll leave this topic open for another day or so, then lock.

i watched some of th marathon. its so freakn awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D i recorded the ENTIRE thing on VCR tapes! all i had to do was switch tapes every 8 hours! i will watch the episodes during the upcoming weeks along with diamond and pearl!

I don't think they showed the Silver Cup did they during the marathon? That was kinda sad. I really want to see the Gray and Ash battle. Oh well. I did see the Ninetails episode. That was super coolie.
