Ok, number one, default MS Paint colours, number two, bad shading and choice of shading colours, and number three, bad outline job. Work on your sprites, especially the Lapras and Rapidash ones. And practice alot before you open a shop.

Look, thoser Lapras sprites are as good as you think. Work really hard on them and take example of how other spriters work. Honestly, you need to use different colours and not default ones, and actually do the outline right.

Example sprites are probably the ones you want to work the hardest on, actually...since they're the ones that help give people an impression of your work.

Anyways, as already stated, you have some outline issues. They're broken up in spots, and also need to be recolored. The ideal outline color for a sprite is a darker version of the color that's being outlined. Also, don't ever just recolor any area of a sprite the same, uniform color - use a darker color for the spots that are the shading color, a lighter color for spots that are highlights, etc.

Speaking of highlights...this is apparent in both the lapras, but: never use a color scheme which puts a darker color on top of a lighter color. In pokemon sprites that just totally messes up whatever shading was originally there.
