Lavender Town

[SIZE="a"]Remember back when everyone had Pokemon Red and Blue? The other day i was looking around a store and found Red. So i put it in my gameboy and turned it on. I decided to see the old acount. He was in Lavender town and had 6 pokemon. Charizard, mewtwo, zapdos, cubone, ninetales, and somehow missingno (most likely gameshark). I turned of the sound because my ears were starting to really hurt. So that night I couldn't sleep and the next day I got major headaches. Did I get lavender town syndrome?[/SIZE]

No you didn't because stupid stories about a video game don't make people kill themselves or whatever.

Missingno isn't hard to capture either because it will duplicate Master Balls.

Wasn't the Lavender Town tune already changed to something more normal in non-Japanese Red and Blue releases?

Missingno is possible to get without hacks but only when the game messes glitches up which happens on very rare occasions but other than that he was most likely a hacker considering he did have all those legendarys but therefore we can't jump to conclusions.

The lavender town syndrome, doesn't make your ears hurt instantly, according to the 'legend' you have to spend a while in the town, since it is caused by a metal 'bubbling' sound around 40 seconds into the music. The syndrome has been found out to not cause people to die, that is just how stories spread, one person hears it and tells it to someone else making an error in the story it repeats till everyone hears the worse telling of said story. And i doubt you have the correct cartridge, it apprently only happened in the Pokémon Red/Green 1.0 Japan version.
When released to the rest of the world, they corrected it, so, no I do not believe you have the syndrome.
