    Hey, could you help me out on my team please? Its for Leaf Green.

    So Far I have;

    Gengar @ Leftovers
    Trait: Levitate
    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)

    - Giga Drain
    - Focus Punch
    - Substitute / Hypnosis
    - Thunderbolt / Ice Punch

    Psychic is redundant when you have a Psychic-type on your team. McGar would be a better option.

    Alakazam @ Leftovers
    Trait: Synchronize
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Calm Mind
    - Fire Punch
    - Thunder Punch
    - Psychic

    Mewtwo is too cheap to use on an in-game team. Alakazam provides a better balance without losing too much power.

    Lapras @ Leftovers
    Trait: Water Absorb
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Surf
    - Ice Beam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk

    Restalk Lapras.

    Dragonite @ Leftovers / Shell Bell
    Trait: Inner Focus
    Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)

    - Ice Beam
    - Thunderbolt
    - Substitute
    - Focus Punch

    SubPuncher.

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Trait: Thick Fat
    Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)

    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    - Return
    - Earthquake

    Stalkerlax.

    Tyranitar @ Leftovers / Shell Bell
    Trait: Sand Stream
    Lonely Nature (+Atk, -Def)
    - Dragon Dance

    - Rock Slide
    - Aerial Ace / Earthquake
    - Crunch

    DDtar would be a better option. It makes Aerial Ace even worth keeping, although Earthquake would still be preferred.
    Much better than the usual in-game teams we see around here.

    Thanks for the input, however, I doubt i'll be going to DDtar, and changing my mew2, since its not netbattle, and ingame isnt really a challenge so there really wouldnt be any need for dragon dance.

    As for Gengar, I'll agree with you on the Psychic part, but im not all for the McGar, so any other suggestions on what to replace psychic for?

    Use Thunderbolt over Psychic, that's a popular move on Gengar. ;) It's also more powerful than Psychic.

    ooh, i have a good one: GET RID OF MEWTWO.

    do it or i'll be forced to signal a sniper peering over the roof of the building near you.

    Using Mewtwo in-game is about as cheap as using a level 100 Magikarp. The AI in-game is very idiotic, so it almost doesn't matter what Pokemon you use, as long as your moveset is solid. A level 100 Alakazam will KO as many things as a level 100 Mewtwo or level 100 Furret.

    Competitively, I'm on the same roof as Samson, unless it's an uber tiered battle.

    Your statement goes against your strategy of having Mewtwo on your team. If in-game really isn't a challenge then why do you feel the need to have an uber on your team? Unless you have cheated, that Mewtwo is going to be a minumum of Lv70. NOTHING in-game is going to touch that thing, if used correctly. Makes the rest of your team totally unnecessary.

    Not really, I'm going to be using the team to link battle some of my friends too.

    The General Consensus is 'using UBERs InGame is just plain Icky.'

    It's OVERKILL to the point of insanity. But if you must keep him - don't use him as an excuse to not change other pokes movesets. We will just ignore him and build around him.

    As far as i'm concerned you have 5 poke team.

    One of my favorite Gengar build is...

    Gengar w/Leftovers
    'Levitate' : Immune to (Ground) attacks.
    <Timid : +Spd / -Att>
    * Thunderbolt
    * Ice Punch
    * Giga Drain
    * Destiny Bond

    This makes him a good special sweep with <Bolt/Beam>. *Giga Drain provides some healing and a much needed Swampert remover. *Destiny Bond is the final kick in the pants. You know when he's going down so why not take something with you.
