I'm going to a game shop tommorrow to buy the remakes of RBY and I was just wondering which one should I buy? Firered or Leafgreen. Which version has better Pokemon? Which one should I buy?

It depends on what aspects and Pokemon from the game you want. Each one has its own advantages to good and bads, but there isn't really one that is definetly better than the other. If you're just getting it to play the remakes, regardless of everything else, then either one is good enough.
