Lore wise, it makes no sense why zeraora is even in kalos, let alone warrant it's own mega evolution and stone. Last time we even heard from this elusive electric tiger was either fula city movie set in an unknown region and pokemon home's mystery gift. Either way, I'm disappointed it has nothing to do with expanded lore of kalos and king AZ. (At the very least they downgraded it to legendary status, which means zeraora is no longer a threat of becoming an extinct mythical, if "Legends Zeraora" releases on switch.) Now GF, Pokemon Company, or Nintendo please do this to more mythicals, at least on the Nintendo switch, since you abandoned the 3ds and Nds with retiring the internet servers, in turn making it impossible for future dex completion null due to the fact that you have to even hack them in to obtain. I'm not encouraging it, but sometimes it seems like the only way to get limited time myths, when they don't offer a legitimate way to obtain mystery gifts that have expired. Plus abandoning GBA mythicals making them impossible to obtain on GBA, myths seriously weren't that well thought out when they expanded the concept of mythicals. If the people who eventually got into the franchise late, then find out oh you can't catch mew in LGP/LGE, you can't catch Zarude or Zeraora in Sword/Shield, you can't catch Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin in BDSP, you can't catch Zeraora and Zarude in Scarlet Violet. There is more ranting I have to do about myths, but I think I explained myself on what happened to the 3ds and ds Internet and GBA's starting out limitations.

Rumors are that we will finally receive some news on this game since its February 2024 announcement. Most likely, we will receive news on Pokémon Day (February 27th), but could also be as early as January. Also, apparently Amazon accidentally leaked a release date of Friday, August 15th, 2025. I grow more and more impatient each month....

Latest rumors are suggesting this information:

*Riddler Khu didn't include the "former 5" + 2, that are the starters, Mega Victreebell ("Zhu Cha Ling"), Mega Chandelure and Mega Excadrill.

This is based on the recent Mega list

Pic. 1 (Momo Dayo) . Though it might feel like it means Mega Sylveon, Reuniclus, or even Pecharunt, because of pink, the character's phsychic hand and "Momo", but besides her you can see the kanji for "dayo", that means "you know/right?". Her last name is Ayase. "Ayase Dayo" is a meme from the anime Oreimo, short for "Ore no imouto ga konnani kawaii wake ga na", which means "My little sister can't be this cute". The sentence "Ayase, Dayo?" from episode 2 of season 2 generated a lot of memes, but the riddle is about the little sister part, and the only little sister from gen 6 is Bonnie, and she is connected to Zygarde in the anime. This picture is probably Mega Zygarde.

Pic. 2 (Sonic and Shadow). They are on the moon, so this picture is probably Mega Clefable, but it could also mean Mega Starmie since in this scene they're talking about how a start's light stays even if it dies.

Pic. 3 (Sleipnir from Seven Deadly Sins). It's essentially a bait, because one may think this is Mega Zygarde since its forms are all based on Loki's children, with the exception of Sleipnir. Even though it doesn't mean that Mega Zygarde couldn't also look like this (the leaker Moot suggested two forms), this is probably Mega Scolipede, since the mane is the same color as it.

Pic 4. (Keroro). Mega Greninja, so even Delphox and Chestanaught.

Pic 5. (Anime girl with cowboy hat). Riddler Khu reproposed this from the Legends: Arceus dex leak three years ago. Now the character has blonde hair and a cowboy hat. That hat is a Zeraora skin from Unite. The money might mean the fact that skin is not free, but , given the news that Mega Zeraora was cut, it might mean it was put in a DLC.

Pic. 6 (Avengers). Mega Falinks, because the Avengers unite.

Pic. 7 (Kitty from One Punch Man). Since you can see his eye closed to break the blade, it's a reference to Scar from The Lion King. It's Mega Pyroar.

Pic. 8 (plague doctor steel pendant). It may look like Aromatisse, but even Ballguy talked about an "steel chicken", since Corviknight is clearly a raven and, like Aromatisse, isn't on the list, this one is Mega Skarmory.

Pic. 9 (double Hedorah). Normally, there's only one Hedorah in Godzilla, and it was create by pollution, so it appears in industrial cities, but in this picture there's the two of them in a lush and green mountain setting. It feels inverted, there's one Pokémon in gen 6 that evolves from putting the console upside down: Inkay, so this one's Mega Malamar.

Pic. 10 (Vinnie and Kaaba Muslim prayer rug). This seemed like Pangoro, but it's not on the list. Since Scrafty has skin pants and the description for it's Mega hints at a hoodie, which might look like a hijab or desert clothing, this picture could be Mega Scrafty. Another option is Mega Hawlucha.

Pic. 11 (Fidget spinner). Given the color red and the fact that descriprions point out holes in the flower's petals, this picture is probably Mega Eternal Floette.

Pic. 12 (water hydra). This might be many things: it's stormy, so Mega Drampa, based on half of its description,Mega Barbaracle because of the multiple head thing, even thpugh it loses the Water Type, Mega Dragalge or even Dragonite because of how Dratini and Dragonair look.
