Legendary pokemon

What type of legendary pokemon do you think they'll come out with next? I mean they have Moltres, Zapdos, Articuno, Suicune, Raiku and Entei to represent the elements. They have Ho-oh who reresents the sun, Groudon who represents the land, Kyogre who represents the sea and Rayquaza who represents sky. They also have dialga and palkia time and space. Then Arceus the creator of everthing. What could be next? (Didn't want to list every legendary to much typing)

To be quite honest, I'm not even sure, myself. I think they might go into cultural legends, and pick something out, but in all honesty, I can't really see what they could do that hasn't already been done.

But you can always count on them to find something. Be it a good or bad thing.. well.. its all down to interpretation.. XD I personally think they should just think about getting Platinum out there, and doing something towards a Gold/Silver remake; I'd love to see the Second Generation in Fourth Generation graphics. The cameo appearances in Diamond/Pearl were too plentiful for there not to be one! XD

Quite the opposite. I'm not really sure what could be next. For the Lake Trio, they pulled out of Buddhist legend, so who knows what could be next? I surely don't. And I can't think of anything I'd like to see, so I guess I'll just leave it to them to think of something.

And even digging in to having legends represent space and time was pretty good right there. So...anything's possible at this point.

As everyone else, I have no idea. Maybe they'll start creating legendaries from planets. I think that would be pretty cool... though nine new legendaries in a hardly new game would be a little much.

Sphinx would be pretty good. They could do cryptid animals, like Bigfoot, Yeti, and so on.

Well, the Game Freak created Arceus, the Pokémon who create all. What will be now? I'm not sure but i can be legendary with the time's sequence. Like Past, Present and Future. Yeah...time again...
Or just like Mew and Mewtwo, without something to represent.

Seasonal and Egyptian Legendary Pokemon sound pretty cool. However, there hasn't really been a Legendary that has stood to date with Ancient times; in a similar way as the Fossil Pokemon. In a future Generation, a group of Pokemon Palaeontologists/Scientists/whatever stumble across a very unique Fossil, of an Ancient Pokemon, and upon its awakening, it vanishes and things start to happen.

Fluid concept, but it certainly beats having a team of half-wits causing havoc, much like Team Magma, Aqua and Galaxy did; it being an accidental revival of a beast that died out for good reason.. muahahaha..

I think the time thing is really cool.

Have 3 things that look practically the same (Like, i dont know, CATS?!)
But have one as a Mummy, One normal, and One Robot.

For types, would that stand as Dark, Normal and Steel, respectively? Those kind of stand as the kind of types that fit the descriptions you mentioned for each phase of time.

I was more thinking along the lines of something that just lived among the Pokemon of ancient times, but it was a brutal monster that tore through the land, in the past. Its resurrection could involve the other Legendaries trying to calm its rampant rage, once released.. but from the raw idea of an ancient Legendary that died out with its ancient ilk, I've not really got much in the form of plot ideas, or how/why its such a brutal Legendary.

Luckily, there are only two of them, and both are really slow, and aren't too hard to take down. Spiritomb is down there with Shuckle, if I remember correctly. XD I actually made easy work of Cynthia's Spiritomb, in diamond, and even more so, in Pearl, since I used my Cherrim against it, and I got through it quite quickly, with surprise.

There are two definates:
A legendary trio
A Pair for the main plotline

Those are the only two recurring themes (From Gen2 onwards), but there is most likely to be a third poke related to the Pair in some way and another uber-uber since there is usually one of them per gen too.
