legendary pokemon

How do you get them? I read somewhere that you can keep on battling the 3 legendary birds but I can't seem to rebattle them. Plus, I've rebattled the Regis without any team mates so many times ( I used escape orb after defeating them) but they never join my team although I have their friend area. I also saw Mew beign listed as a recruitable pokemon on the 41st floor of the buried relic. I spent a lot of time in the dungeon (aided by X-ray glasses) but no Mew spawned on that floor. Does anyone know how to make it spawn? Plus, what is the musical box for?

Yeah, you can rebattle them. Just go to Mt. Thunder, Mt Blaze & Frosty Forest [Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno respectively], and you can befriend one of them.

10% percent better chance of recruting them, any Pokemon actually, if you have a Friend Bow. [Mt Faraway, 30F, requires key to get]

For Mew, you're probably gonna need a Friend Bow, some luck, and its Friend Area [Final Island] because it can appear on any floor after 35F when you beat Registeel. And speaking of the Regis, I'm pretty sure you can recruit them with a Friend Bow.

The music box, by the way, DON'T USE IT. Mew will only apear if it's in your....box-thing you carry with you in dungeons, I forget what it's called. And Mew can appear pretty much anywhere, so keep your eyes peeled!! :classic:

try to have 2 pokemon with a higher and lower level(l.v30-40 and l.v5-10) and destroy them slowly by stalling the battle.:). Also try to have one team member in all ( your best)DON'T RECRUIT ANYBODY BUT THE LEGENDARY.the music box helps lure mew towards you.note:mew will join you at -30%.

#1: You can't recruit legendaries if you are on a mission when you enter the dungeon.
#2: It is just luck that they join you just like everybody else. SO just use a friend bow or whatever it's called.
#3: Can't rebattle till you've finished story mode...or at least the main story.
#4: Mew can spawn almost anywhere. Just look everwhere on the floor before you continue.(I took alot of apples with me)

Ok Thanks. I learnt that I'm not suppose to use the music box when I accidentally used it. But don't worry, I got like 4-5 music boxes in my Kangaskhan storage. Thanks for the bit of info about the friend band. I'll go look for it.
