Yes I have. I've beaten one at level 70(or above, but in the lower 70's). It was mine at first, but my cousin traded with me for a different poke in emerald.Then after we traded he demanded a battle. lets put it simply..get a luxray or pichu/pika/rai with charge and thunderfang/volt tackle/shock wave. Have the two battling pokes around the same level. Just use charge twice or 3 times while it uses counter(it should'nt use destiny bond) then use shockwave twice in a row. be sure to max out it's speed with stat boosters and have it hold a quick claw.

My cousin Mark, who is nearly unbeatable can kill those things like it was a level 2 pokemon. And no, he does not use hacked pokemon. He uses stat boosters, but who does'nt?.

Wobbufet= poser, especially the female bastard with the lipstick ><

Incorrect. Stats alone do not make a Pokémon Uber. What makes a Pokémon Uber is a combination of movepool, stats and in some cases its ability; stats are just one of the things that make a Pokémon Uber.
Wobuffet, Mew, Jirachi, Manaphy, and Darkrai are uber. Slaking is not uber, the rest with base total over 600 are all uber.

Jirachi has never been an Uber. Although it has a great trait, its movepool is rather limited and a strong physical sweeper will just mash through its defenses.

And why exactly wouldn't Wobbuffet be able to use Destiny Bond? -.- And the fact that you had a 1 vs 1 battle proves nothing. Wobbuffet needs to be used well and your cousin obviously can't use it. Let's not forget the fact that Speed is useless against Wobbuffet because it can only deal damage with low priority moves and its Speed sucks. Also, just using 10 Carbos on a Pokémon won't max out its Speed EVs, it'll only give it less than half of the EVs needed for maximum Speed.

Seriously, if you don't know what you're talking about may I suggest you don't talk at all?

Conclusion: An uber is ANY pokémon with a base stat of 600 or above. Wobbuffet and Slaking ARE uber as there base stat is above or 600. Also, when you get pitched against an uber, be unpredictable and play on it's weakneses.

That is a horrid conclusion. Did you read the thread at all? Read Smarties post. He explains it.

As it has already been mentioned, Slaking isn't uber. Its ability leaves it vulnerable to powerful attacks such as Focus Punch, granting your opponent a free turn.
 
Reason why wobbuffett is uber is pretty much because of Shadow Tag. If you could switch out, it wouldn't be uber. Plus switch in your own Wobbu on theirs. Then it's a struggle war. How fun!

I just can't get over this. Any? Slaking is in no way uber. It's trait halters it from being uber. Smarties-kun completley explained it. It's like you ignored all post explaining it. As Smartied said, an uber is a pokemon who's moveset, stats a d sometimes abilities, makes it unbalanced.

None at all. This thread seems to be a baiting for arguments anyway. And thank you all for your help. Cleared things up. :)

I was shocked when I read that Wobbuffet was an Uber. o_O
Although after checking it's abilities, HP & moves it made sense. XD
 
Lighten up a little bit, Ariel. It's not bad when the arguing is about the topic.

Now that I think on it, Worry Seed might help, but of course, few can use it effectively. Cherrium, or whatever it's called, isn't that good, and once Wobby switches out, Insomnia ends, am I right?

Thank you for completely ignoring my post. Not all Pokémon with a base stat total of 600 or more are uber. Slaking's trait makes it incapable of competing with its fellow 600+ base stat Pokémon, Celebi's and Jirachi's movepools and typing make them inferior to ubers. Heatran's typing makes it extremely vulnerable to just about any uber and Cresselia can't deal damage to save its life and usually just sits there and absorbs hits.

I swear that if someone doesn't make a guide about what classifies an uber soon I'll do it myself. <.<

And seriously, If you don't know who your talking to, don' you think you should'nt talk at all? I know people that can beat you at your own mod games. oh yes, warning me with a warning, got no problem with that, however, threat me with a ban, you'll talk be talking with my friends. X/. Ever heard of gabbly? I know very persuasive people on there. Same on conquer online,newgrounds,YTMND and more. Know go run along now you prissy little mod. Don't think I don't know how to work with your kind. I'm a mod on different sites as well. Thats why I have Hackers protect the sites.
