I'm not sure where to post this. I was wondering if you can use legendary pokemon in the battle like with a friend and and the battle frontier. Because I read some where that certain pokemon can't be use.
when it comes to battle with friends i'm sure you can use whatever you wish, but in the battle frontier most cases will show up in your party as 'banned' instead of 'able' when it asks you to select your pokes for the different areas.
Over Wi-Fi, with a friend, what you can and can't use is based entirely on the clauses in use.
In the Battle Frontier, some Pokémon are banned. Not all legendaries are banned and not all that are banned are legendaries.
Other than that, there are the *smogon.com link removed* from Smogon where Ubers aren't the primary metagame.
