5th Gen Less of B2/W2?

I honestly preferred BW to BW2. With BW being my second games when I came back from my Pokemon hiatus, I guess it's sort of sentimental for that reason.

I really liked all the new Pokemon that they came up with in 5th Gen and I liked the idea of only being able to play the main story with only the Pokemon from that region. I mean, come on, who doesn't like them some Scrafty and Sigilyph?! :P

I never really get into pre-quels, restarting things just isn't mah thang

This was the same thing for me. I played BW1 for hours! But when I got BW2... I guess the 100+ hours I played on the original BW1 made me bored of BW2 and Unova. I like how they added more content in BW2 yes, but it felt like I was playing more or less the same thing. the same reason why I never bought platinum, crystal or any of those kind of 'enhanced' versions.
That's what I feared; that the gameplay in Unova would be pretty much like playing Pokemon Black all over again- same map, same people in the same places, same pokemon; with just a few new bells and whistles tacked on, which was why I never thought to buy B/W2

I spent more hours on White 2 than any other pokemon game. I might end up passing that on X since I have 4 badges with 46 hours under my belt (haven't really played lately even though I got it on the release)

B/W are boring now that I played White 2. I tried playing through White (beat the original Black) and I just couldn't stay occupied. There isn't NOTHING to do after you beat B/W..there is plenty to do on B/W 2 however

Until recently, I had played White a fair amount more than White 2. Before X and Y came out, though, I put some more time into White 2, so they may be similar at this point.

Compared with previous generations, I didn't play 5th gen that much. For whatever reason, I didn't feel that motivated to complete the Pokedex (even the local one), and I wasn't that attached to my Pokémon. There are a lot of things I'd like to go back and do there at some point (actually, I have a lot of Pokémon games I'd like to do more on), but it's not going to happen for the time being.

I think I already have more hours on X than I did on White 2, and it may not be long before I pass White (although I don't remember how many hours I have on it exactly). Gen 5 just didn't grip me that much. I guess I've also been pretty busy the past couple of years (leading to reduced Pokémon play time), but I've tried to make time in the evenings for X before I go to sleep, hence the discrepancy.

Not to mention, I still have Black and Black 2 files where I'm not sure if I've even picked a starter yet. I should really play those at some point, or maybe do a challenge on them.

I actually played White2 more than I had played White. It was more enjoyable for me to play since there was more to the story.
