Let's draw Sugimori Style!!

As the title says, I'm trying to draw in the official/Sugimori-sama style. I'm planning on drawing all the sprites from all the games as Sugimori artwork. Of course, all with new poses. I'll be using the FRLG Pokemon Zukan Illustration book and character illustration from both Emerald and FRLG as reference.

As for the GSC trainers, I'll be using the Pokemon Stadium 2 artwork :)

If any of you visit BMGf or my DA account, this thread may sound familiar :P

Well, I'll consider drawing Magmar, but Pok?mon with let's say "poor" poses and GSC are likely to get redone first.

I do take request, but it may take a while to go, or maybe it's done fast. "Delivery" depends on real live, but yeah, i do :P

If i get to draw the anime characters, they will be drawn as anime characters, i don't think they could fit in the sugimori style...but i guess I could try. So right now I really don't know how those will be drawn XD

I definetly drawing Red in the "New Sugimori style", as can look great. So expect that one to be the first request I take =)

How do you make them?

I use Macromedia Flash to draw 'em and partially shade them and then i use Paint Shop Pro 7 to finish off the lines and shading. Basically, the old good combo I've always used, hehe :P

I already drew a Mudkip & a torchic, i don't love them ,as these were the first attempts on the "sugi" style. Anyways, here are the pics ^^;
