Have you ever trained a Pokemon to level 100? If so, which ones? Do you do so regularly, or is it a rare event for you?

My first level 100 was my Blastoise in Red. Since then, I've trained my Red team, Gold team, Diamond team, and a few others to level 100. Most of my X team is there, but that isn't really intentional; it's just so easy to get experience with the Exp. Share now. I used to care a lot about getting my teams to level 100, but now that a lot of battles automatically set your Pokemon to the appropriate level (50, in many cases), it seems less worthwhile to train to level 100 than it used to.

One Pokemon. Ever. Rayquaza in LeafGreen. Haven't come close since. Mainly because I'm always doing runs of the other games. Never stick with one game for long.

Why Rayquaza (in LeafGreen, since you presumably had to trade it over)?

While it starts off at a decent level, assuming you catch it at a normal in-game spot, it has a high experience point threshold to max out, so I could see how that might have taken a while.

I was just searching for Pokemon in the Sevii Islands. And this was before I just ran from everything, and instead just destroyed everything.

Now that you mention it, that may also be why I seemed to get to level 100 more often in the past. I did tend to fight a lot more random wild battles, whereas these days, after the start of the game, I tend to avoid those.

The highest I've gone so far is 70. Mainly because whenever I play online it clocks back to 50. For that reason, I don't bother to go all the way to 100 anymore. Occasionally I'll run into the problem that we're playing at 100s and I don't have anyone at that level yet lol.

I do if I am bored and want a Pokemon to be perfectly trained(level 100, full Evs, etc.) but most of the time, no. After a Pokemon is past level 50 and is usable in wifi battles I generally stop unless I am still training for the main story haha.
