4th Gen Level 4 Staravia?

    Haha I recently started replaying Platinum and after beating Roark, I decided to explore a litte bit in Oreburgh gate and i was just about to leave when I encountered a Golbat that was at lvl 10! I was really surprised and excited so i caught it and told my friend and he told me had caught a lvl 4 Staravia when he first played Diamond.

    So im wondering, has this happened to any of you?

    BTW, am now the proud owner of a level 22 Crobat xD
     
    Yeah. Im thinking theres a tiny tiny chance that you can catch the evolved form of some pokemon in some parts of the game. Maybe its a programmin error, or maybe they just want to add a variety to wild grass. iunno O_O
     
    Nope Golbat is not an error, it is a rare encounter at Oreburgh Gate and have you actually seen your friend's lvl 4 Staravia? I find it hard to believe someone found a legit lvl 4 Staravia.
     
    Actually, in an off chance that it will happen to you, you can find it in Lake Verity.
    It has happened to me once!

    I was like, "wtf wut is this i don't even"
    So, I just ran from it... XD;
     
    Yup there's a 5% chance to find a level 5-10 Golbat while surfing in the Oreburgh Gate.
     
    There is a 1% chance of catching a level 10 Golbat in the basement floor of the Oreburgh Gate ONLY in Platinum.

    Didn't happen to me specifically in Platinum, no. However, there is a 1% chance of seeing a level 7 Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest in Yellow. (Probably an anime reference lol). I caught it.
     
    Not this specifically, but I did see fight/catch a wild Abominasnow before I fought the gym leader who had one as her final pokemon.
     
    Lol I've caught a lvl4 Staravia... It was funny. I almost killed it >.< Good thing I had my in-training Swinub in my team...

    More than this, I feel bad for the trainers near the end of d/p/pt that have level 40+ Magikarp.
     
    I found a Golbat in Oreburgh Gate as well, but I just ran away since I had no interest in getting a crobat + Golbats are so common later O:
     
    YEah i caught the level 4 staravia in diamond and in yellow (im playing again to get used to pika following me) i caught a level 9 pidgeotto in viridian forest
