Question: Levels / Tiers of 'Community Supporter"

    So I just today noticed the option to donate, which is cool. Then I got taken to this page later that described levels or, tiers - of community supporter-ship? It mentioned gold and crystal levels, but personally the wording on the two seemed a little misleading.

    On the one hand, both mentioned 'subscriptions', which obviously means regular payments. But either membership mentioned reaching a total of 25$ donated, and a seemingly important tidbit, about 13 months. Can someone please elaborate more definitively what exactly these are, and what distinguishes the means of reaching either one, and the difference of effects of the two besides color of username?

Gold requires donating anything between $15 to $25 in total (over any period of time, via separate payments or in one go, etc), and Crystal requires $25 or more in total to get that rank.

    A few things there are out of date like reoccurring payments (because we don't have Tier 5 for instance), and I'm also not sure which page you're getting 13 months from.

    Thank you, that and the linked thread answer most of what I was confused about pretty neatly.

    I was looking for the reason behind why my name turned grey and italic (I didn't know why at the time, I do now.) and I stumbled from Controls >> Control Panel Home >> Miscellaneous >> Paid Subscriptions, to this screen.
