    Hey, I live in Norway and would love to help you. I have never done the Masuda method before, reading about it now and it looks really cool
     
    I don't really get what the big deal with shinies is. They're just a different color and rare giving no advantages in battle. Yet people are willing to give up an awful lot to get them.

    Not to mention almost all of them are really ugly!!

    Oh, well i think that it's personal preference. I can understand why Shiny pokemon are so popular, i find many of them to be very beautiful. It makes your team look very pretty too. And so if you are lvling a powerful team to beat other opponents or the League why not have some pokemon that look different from other you will encounter :)
