Which game is this in? In Scarlet/Violet, this item is relatively easy to obtain post-game. I can buy you one if you need it, but below is the purchase location:
Where is the Destiny Knot in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and How Do You Get It?
Destiny Knots aren't available for purchase until after you collect all gym badges and defeat the Paldea Champion.
The Destiny Knot can be purchased in Mesagoza from Delibird Presents for 20,000 Poké Dollars.
When a parent Pokémon is holding the Destiny Knot, 5 IVs from the two parents will be passed to the egg Pokémon.
