I recently started drawing Pokemon, just out of the blue. I never really was into art so much, but for some reason, drawing these things seems really cool to me~ I use just a regular pencil for everything, mostly because I like the drawings' effects more when there's no color; just contrast between different shades of graphite.

I decided to do shading on my drawings - it definitely adds some more contrast to them, which I like more. This is where I would like some critique, because I'm not the best shader out there, and I really want to learn how to do it right ^^

(All drawings are freehanded, and based off of a previous image I was watching)

I like them but there's still few things that you should practice.
1. Crawdaunt and Sunflora are somehow fat
2. Absol and Ho-oh looks a little weird... There's something wrong with them
3. Palkia has some things too fat and some things are too tiny
4. Metagross and Walrein are perfect
EDIT: I forgot about Snorlax, it's even more perfect than others

But in other words: 86/100

Picture is cool, but I feel like Ogre should be a bit smaller and groudon should appear bigger, since it seems that they are being viewed at a lower angled vantage point.

I'm back! :o sorry about my absence, I was busy playing SoulSilver/drawing more things ^^ Anyway, I got into charcoal pencil drawing, because shading is easier and more fun, and the pictures look nicer. I started drawing some animals also :) By the way, does anyone know how to change the name of this thread? Cause its not specifically Pokeart anymore lmao
