Chapter Twenty: A Happy Ending
So Malodor decided to stay with Amy and her family. A couple months later in a peaceful afternoon, Amy noticed that Tallow was gone.
"Tallow, my buddy! Where are you! Today's Malodor's birthday!" cried Amy. A couple of hours later Tallow flew threw the window.
"Where have you been?" asked Amy. Tallow turned around and pointed outside of the window. She saw Vander and some other people! She gasped and ran down the stairs. She opened the door and said:
"Vander! Who are these other people?" she asked.
"Go ahead you guys! Tell her who you are!" said Vander.
"I hope you remember Labia!" smiled Labia. She was a tall 13-year old girl with light, pink, long hair. She was wearing a blue dress with sunflowers on them and little red sandals. She had blue eyes.
"I don't suppose you know who Makita is?" asked Makita. She was wearing a long brown skirt, a cream tank top, and black sandals. She had long black hair with a small, jeweled hair clip in it. She had brown eyes.
"I know that you remember who Kip is!" laughed Kip. He had dark mocha eyes and short wavy orange (he's a red head) hair. He was wearing a white shirt with a Grovyle on it, green sweat pants, and black sandals (a lot of sandals!) Amy gasped.
"Thank you, you guys for coming!" smiled Amy.
"Nah! Don't thank us, thank Tallow!" said Labia.
"Malodor come look!" cried Amy. Malodor came running down the stairs and outside.
"Happy birthday, my old friend!" greeted Makita.
"Tallow, how come you an Naomi didn't change?" asked Amy.
"Well, why should we when we can still speak to you?" replied Tallow.
"How can you speak?" asked Amy in amazement.
"Well, me and Naomi found a Xatu on the way, so we made a wish. First we wished for Makita, Vander, Labia and Kip to be with us. Then we wished for them to be human. And last we wished for us to be able to speak like a human," replied Tallow. Amy hugged him.
"Wow, I think this is the best birthday of my life!" laughed Malodor.
"I'm glad you're enjoying it!" smiled Naomi. She jumped into Malodor's arms and started licking him.
"Hey why don't you come in! I'll introduce you to my mom, dad, and my brother!" offered Amy. They all went inside and Amy introduced them to her family.
"I love your friends!" complimented Mrs. Ryokou.
"So you're trying to tell me that these are your friends you traveled on your great journey, and they're now human?" asked Korma.
"You bet!" said Amy.
"Now wasn't such an easy journey!" started Labia.
"Labia," whispered Tallow, "They already know about the journey."
"Oh," said Labia, and then she chuckled.
"Why don't you ask your parents if you can stay in Vendenturf for a while?" suggested Mr. Ryokou.
"Uhhh… I was born a Zangoose, so I don't have parents. They abandoned me," said Makita.
"Same with me an Kip, we live by ourselves," said Labia.
"I live by myself, I'm 19," said Vander.
"All the more better!" said Mrs. Ryokou.
"So anyway, how old are you turning, Malodor?" asked Kip.
"I'm turning 14," replied Malodor.
"Well what do ya know? The Malodor is celebrating his second year of being a teen!" laughed Makita.
"How old are all of you?" asked Naomi.
"I'm 15," replied Kip.
"I'm 12," replied Amy.
"As you know I'm 19," replied Malodor.
"I'm 12 too," replied Amy.
"In Pokemon years me and Naomi are 3, but in human years we're 13," replied Tallow. They all laughed with joy. Minutes, hours, days, weeks, even months went by and everyone was still friends. They didn't care about their age, they were still friends. So remember, be careful what you wish for, it just might come true.
