Treena shook her head, as she was enjoying her meal. "I'm fine," she voiced. "This is delicious!"

Celeste smiled, glad she was okay with the meal. The angel felt quite silly, as she always did when eating with others who ate meat.

I laughed a bit and said "Glad you like it Treena." I looked over at Celest and added "Although you might have a difficult time here. Not many people in my family eat a lot of vegetables."

"I always carry a bit of them with me," Celeste smiled. "There should be no problems."

"Cool" I said, finishing off the first course as one of the attendaants came in, pushing a cart bearing salad and the next of the three courses, a venison dish I particularly favored.

Celeste smiled as she was handed the salad. She picked at it a bit, then smiled, finding it to be very good. She ate silently for a time, having nothing much to say.

Treena took the second course, having no idea what it was. She took a small bite, then found it to be delicious. She ate silently as well.

"if it's alright," i said slowly. " I'd like to eat the food I brought with me. " I said, politely puching teh plate away.

I nodded my assent towards Donovan, then returned to the meal. The silence was a bit odd in my opinion but I found it just a well, allowing my own thoughts to work themselves out as I ripped into the meat.

The meat was delicious, perfectly done by my tastes. I licked the last of my juices off my lips and asked grimly "So, does anyone else here have an idea about what's going one?"

"That's the problem!" Treena said, angrilly banging a fist on the table. "We need some sort of clue! Anything that could possibly have anything to do with that d*** symbol!"

Celeste was slightly abashed at Treena's outburst and launguage, but she kept quiet.

'What was on that symbol again?" I asked. "maybeit's not an insignia, maybe it'
s a peice of treasure belonging to someone. something like that probably isn't exactly a comon item. A couple dozen at best. If we can find where the insignia came from, then maybe we can find who's trying to start war. And it may not even be an orc, so this search may be difficult."

I nodded to Donovan and Treena, taking the symbol out and studying it closer. "Looks like a dragon's head, a red I think, and a hand." I stared at it a bit and said tentatively "Maybe the hand's for humanity. The dragon is self evident." The third and final course came in, miso ramen this time as I added "Let's go check a few lore books after dinner."

I slurped up the last of my noodles, putting my bowl off to the side and waiting for the other two to finish.

Celeste politly set her napkin down, indicating she had too finished. Treena followed suit.

"Perhaps someone is indicating a 'revolt' against some sort of group. The humanity hand being a false adevertisment, getting people to do something completly different." Celeste said quietly as she rose from the table.

"Maybe" I said, rising slowly and neatly refolding my napkin. I poured a glass of wine for myself and said "Follow me", turning and leaving the room.

Celeste and Treena followed silently. Celeste hardly noticed she was floating a good 6 inches from the ground. She lost control of her powers when distracted like this nowadays. Her power advancements had come quickly and at an early stage long ago. She shuddered as she remembered those days.

"Any of you need help up" I asked as we came upon the central shaft. It made stairs much easier for anyone who could levitate or fly.
