Celeste grinned, realizing she had indeed been hovering. She smiled at Donnavon breifly, admitting her control issues. "I tend to do that alot lately... It seems I lose control when I'm distracted."

Treena, meanwhile, admitted sheepishly. "I can't fly..." she whispered in an answer to Alderon's question.

I looked up the shaft, feelinga bit flustered. I could fly using my magic, but it would be so much easier to use my wings. But then I would have to tell Alderon how I was closer to Celest than your normal person. And I already knew he wsan't fond of angelic persons.

I nodded kindly, saying "Grab on" as I offered my hand, adding as an afterthought "try not to get creeped out, levitation is a bit different than flight." I glanced over at Donovan saying "You can, I have my guesses. Sixth sense and all."

Treena laughed, taking Alderon's hand. "If I can survive a Vampire draining me of blood, I think I can handle levitating!"

Celeste also took a hand, though it was Donnavon's. "It's alright, let him know. You know I'm always here for you." she said, gently flapping her own wings.

I nodded again, chuckling a bit as I stepped comfortably into thin air although I moved as if it were no different than the floor. Making sure Treena was okay I willed myself upward, remaining otherwise motionless.

Treena's body was unused to the weightless feeling. She twitched nervously, clutching to Alderon's hand. It was quite frightening to watch the air below her move the floor farther and farther away.

Celeste rose into the shaft, following below Alderon and Treena. Her wings powerfully pushed her upwards.

Upon reaching the last entrance I stepped off onto the stone floor although I barely noticed the difference. "feel a bit better" I asked Treena, half-grinning, half-smirking.

The library doors were straight in front of us, a massive entry of intricately carved oak. I opened them slowly, ignoring the familiar creak and stepped in. The librarian stood up from his desk and asked testily (apparently my treatment of the geneologies was still on his mind) "May I help you Lord Ketherly, mistresses and master?"

<OOC>And I'm off. G'night!<OOC>

Treena shoved Alderon playfully. "I was never not fine!" she said in a mock serious tone.

She entered the library as well, quietly. The place had the feeling of all libraries, a stuffy quiet hush.

Celeste arrived shortly after, pausing to wait for Donnavon. She walked with him into the library.

"Would you mind getting us the family caches on dragon lore and human mythology" I asked politely, trying to make amends. A disgruntled librarian could make things quite difficult. He bowed slightly and moved off in search of the books. Motioning for everyone to follow me, I moved to the circular center of the spacious room, containing a large study table.
