all the pokemon in my lineup are level 50-60's

    starting from weakest to strongest

    houndoom lv:50

    alakazam lv:52

    magneton lv:54

    gengar lv:57

    gyarados lv:60

    typhlosion lv:65

im thinking i need to replace my houndoom soon, with something other than another fire type, water or ground type pokemon, maybe tyranitar or rhydon or hitmonlee ... just to make things interesting.

usually i have gengar first, just put them to sleep, and dream eat or shadow ball them. wont even have to switch out another pokemon.

What's the point of this thread?

I would go with Tyranitar, you could use a good Dark type on your team

Gengar definitely first. Train it to a higher level, because it is very fast. You can put the foe into sleep first, then use tyranitar to finish it off. Yeap, changing houndoom to tyranitar is a good choice, Tyranitar has sand steam, use it to your advantage.
