theres that old butler too, try playing it during midnight, scary, and the music with it just guves me bad thoughts, and they don't have walking animations either, they just glide, so scary.
 
When I saw the little girl, I thought I was imagining things, but when I saw the old man too, I knew it was real.
 
lol i tried to find her, didnt work so well :P got me a gengar doing it though (i had firered in)

Come on now, A thing coming out of a TV its Samara! And then the little girl idk. It just reminded me of those movies.

That place is REALLY scary! The only time i'll go in there is when i'm gonna catch Rotom and that's it! That old dude that floats is soooo creepy...I never saw the girl though...where is she?
 
The Old Chateau has its own 2ch Wiki. It's that important to some Japanese players.

The common theory (according to the Wiki) suggests that the girl died in place of someone, as a substitute (suggested by the Substitute TM) in her room.

Also, some say she was poisoned by the chef along with the butler (the old man = her grandfather), as suggested by the Antidote in the kitchen bin, when she came along to her grandfather's work place when the family owning the Chateau left for holiday, and the chef had plans of his own to steal the family riches and run to a far off country but had to get rid of those who could interfere.
 
True story- I was playing my DS around 1:06 AM when I went into the Old Chateu. I've always been a fan of Ghost, Dark, and Psychic types so I went in to go get Rotom. I entered the Dining room, there he was, the Butler. He floated right passed the table and I tried looking for him. I woke up my sister, tried to show it to her, but he was gone. Later that night, still shaking from the incident, I saw the little girl. I've never gone into the Old Chateau again unless I show my friends the ghosts.
 
Where is the girl in there? I've seen the butler but never saw the girl..
 
They totally freaked me out. I was telling my friend about the ghosts and she didn't believe me. I thought I was going crazy. I don't like that place *shudders*

She's in the last room from the row of rooms you find Rotom in, but you only see her when you're in the room next to it. She just glides in and out. It's creepy.

But it's still awesome. xD *loves ghosts*
 
I love the Old Chateau. Its so eerie! I've seen the lil' girl and the butler countless times. (When I go in it I search for them lol)

WHERE IS THE OLD MAN? =( I want to see him.. And I always see the little girl. She's just like two steps in the room next to me (The last room on the right) and she goes out.. and when I go out there's no one there. *shudders*
 
It gave me the creeps.

I was going to catch Rotom, and after I did, I went around the Chateau.
I found the girl in the Cheateau. The first impression it gave me was: "Am I seeing illusions? Is this real?"
Then I talked to the statue (just for fun) and then I walked into the main room... I sort of yelped when I saw the butler. No joke.
Also, the background music creeps me out. I finally realise why Rotom is only available at night. Nintendo wants to creep all players out. Funny how it clicks, huh?
 
I've never seen these, I must investigate!

P.S. you said you can only see the girl when you're in the room next to her, so what happens you use walk through walls cheat and talk to her? (I would try but I don't have an AR)
