There are some stories in life that are just a little weird, kind of interesting, but way too short to put in a blog but far too long for twitter. Or maybe you don't want to put them in a blog or on twitter. idk man. But I don't really have an interesting life and weird lil things come out of it anyway. About family, about family friends, about life in general.

My mom was a part-time caregiver for a company that provided home care for the elderly about seven years ago. She became friends with this lady who has Alzheimer's, but had a really interesting life. She was born in England in 1913 and eventually moved to the States and was a costumer for film and the theatre and had flings with all the famous boys from the mid-thirties to the sixties apparently. I wish I knew more about her so I could say more tbh. But anyway Mom got fired from the job for having a speeding ticket (??? she never transported people so why care???) but the people who regularly cared for this lady requested that Mom stay on as just a friend to hang out with the lady because she does get lonely and Mom is good company. But tomorrow she's going to see her again and Mom has been requested to take a good, official picture of her. Why? Because they need to renew her green card.
This lady's gonna be a hundred and one in a few weeks. She's got a variety of general elderly people health concerns, plus significant Alzheimer's. The hell they gonna do if she don't renew it? Deport this poor old lady? wtf
