Live-Action Pokemon Film?

If there was one it would have to be like a space jam movie half animation half real i highly doubt it will happpen though to wierd
 
I'd watch it if they made it, but if they did, Pokémon haters would be having a party on how much they would torture us fans O_o.

I wouldn't want to see a movie that is embarrasing for Pokemon and the whole fandom.
I agree with Unown. If they'd make a CGI movie like Bolt or TMNT, it could really work well. Half CGI and half real movie could work, too, like in the Death Note movies but that is really difficult to achieve.
 
Well. Thing is, I do not think that it would turn out bad. Think about it.

Pokemon is one of the biggest, most-expensive franchise there is. If they were going to make a live-action movie about it, i doubt it would be crap. I know they would make it awesome, like does really expensive ones like Harry Potter (has it come out yet? i really dont know...)

Even look at the movies we have now (Giratina and Darkrai movies are great examples) they were AMAZING, and partly 3D. If a life-action movie was like that, it would make a lot of moneym and i would definatly see it. kinda reminds me of the Hannah Montana movie XD it is sure to make a lot of money, even though its crap.
 
i would DEFINATELY see it if it was a live-action remake of Rise Of Darkrai, that movie was damn epic

*it would be crazily awesome,just looking at detailed realistic versions of dialga and palkia killing each other :)
 
Id prefer if they would use new human characters rather than ash and co. I dont wanna see them in live action. Too weird (like Goku).
 
well they did have the pokemon live show in the begining and lookin at how they made the pokemon it already looked wierd
 
I would just freak out if they did that.

The pokemon would scare me and give nightmare at night
Pikachu would never be the same...
 
But I for one actually find it easy to imagine the Pokemon CGI'ed without looking like a Barney animation on crack.

However, I don't think such movie will be accomplished if they can't mature up the anime. If they keep the anime looking like it was meant to teach shapes and numbers to little 7 year olds it would fail more than "That Ben 10 movie" in Kenya.

But of course, 10 year old can't act so they would have to man up Ash before that is even considered.

Does Jackie Chan look prepubescent to you? Who are those other people?

I have no idea where people get ideas for actors. Ash would probably be acted by a new child actor.

If Jackie Chan acted there, the movie would be dead after advertisements.
 
DBZ real-action movie= Fail
Pokemon real-action movie= Fail

Goku, picollo and bulma's characther portrayal sucks, the story line has been changed, goku was an emo( so "normal" people can "relate" to him), and some of the characthers design was changed.(for the worst.)

Pokemon real live movie will probably follow the anime, but with a changed storyline. I mean come on, who could fit 8 gyms, 10 cities, 1 evil organiztion to be defeated, + characther development for each pokemon and trainer, in at least 2 hours? probably= a guy finds a pokemon, guy finds evil threath, guy finds friends, guy trains, battle ensues, guy put in a tight situation, and at the last minute, something happens that defeats the evil threath. What do you think of that?

Ash will be emo.
