Between FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, we've got plenty of places to visit, ranging from the city completely surrounded by water known as Sootopolis, all the way to an island known as Cinnabar.

Among them, which location do you feel that stands out most, and how or why? From Hoenn, which town, city, or route is your most and least favorite? What about Kanto? When playing these games, how often do you find yourself visiting them? If you were in charge and were allowed to change anything regarding any of these places, what would it be?

In Hoenn, I like to visit Fortree City, it is just so calming thanks to the music and the environment. I could sit and listen to Fortree City's music for hours, it is just so calming. Also, Fortee City's music is now stuck in my head. As for Kanto, I like to visit Cerulean Cave. I always have chills down my spine when I step through here, it's the final dungeon, where the game's strongest Pokemon is. I feel like I've completely beaten LeafGreen or SoulSilver when I catch Mewtwo. And then there's the music, which fits the environment in both games, and also adds to the epicness.

Definitely Fortree city. I mean a city of treehouses. How cool is that haha? Cannot wait to see that city in ORAS c:

I have to agree on Fortree City as well. Just imagine seeing a town made out of treehouses lol.

    Sotopolis city.

Fortree city is definitelly great looking, but come on, a city in an inactive volcano? And you can only reach it by flying or diving to it? I like it a bit better :D

    Mossdeep city is amazing too.

Idk, can I just say the entire Hoenn region?

Can I say Slateport City? Not only does it have an appealing layout, but I've always thought port towns were rather cool. For that matter, I also love Vermillion City in Kanto for that same reason.

Mt. Chimney. Come on, it's a freaking volcano. That's awesome.

Lavender Town/Pokemon Tower. I know you all may find this an odd choice, but Lavender Town and it's Pokemon Tower gave players a new twist in their Kanto adventure - where the rest of the game was bright and happy, Lavender Town was a darker, creepier place. I've always found that kind of interesting.

And I don't think I'll ever get that music out of my head.

Celadon City. It's got a Game Corner. It's got a Department Store. That sells Evolutionary stones. Plus, it's right by Route 7. The very route that has the pre-evolved stage of the badass fire-breathing canine currently in my avatar. Oh yes~

As for me, first and foremost would be Fortree. To put it simple, I just love the place. Instead of regular homes that you see around towns and cities, this one's filled with tree-houses (which are quite big), and if you ask me, this is what makes this place so fun and special. It's also got a cool weather surrounding itself, which I'm a fan of. Had a place like Fortree City ever existed in real world, I would definitely consider moving. Let's face it, who wouldn't?

Second favorite is more or less Five Island in FireRed and LeafGreen. This one's the largest of all Sevii Islands, if I'm not mistaken, and has tons of areas for us to explore. It's also got access to the secret Rocket Headquarters, which I remember having a lot of fun looking around and whatnot.

It's that scenic route you cross before Fortree: Route 119. :D I remember coming to this place for the first time and being like "wow," - the view was absolutely stunning and it had amazing music, to boot. It gives the feeling of a true adventure, and it was also quite tough to get through. I loved the place so much, I even placed my secret base there. It's obviously going to be home to my secret base again in the remakes; can't wait to see how it looks like.
