You mean the one above the Pokemon Center? That's where you go when you have the item for the Darkrai event (no, it has NOT been released yet, so don't bother asking).
 
That door is how you get the ledgendary pokemon Darkrai. you need to go to the pokemon even to get the Member Card to enter. I just action replayed it. but yeah. you could just buy a action replay for 34 bucks and get anything you want.
 
ok well i have an action replay and i own like every pokemon there is so i was just wondering if there was more to it than that but thankyou very much.

Ok first of all, it's spelt Darkrai. If people don't spell it right I swear I'm gonna Candy my Darkrai to 100 instead of training it....

Now, the answer to your question is...
Nothing! The locked *motel in Canalave City is locked because of the Darkrai event that hasn't happened yet. What'll probably happen is Nintendo will send out a Mystery Gift over Wi-Fi. The gift will either contain one of these two things:
Eigakan Darkrai(AKA 10th Movie Darkrai) but the ID won't say Eigakan.
Membership Pass. This is what unlocks the motel. You walk into the PokéMart and there'll be a guy standing at the counter(post-mysterygift). Talk to him and you'll get one of these two things WHEN the Darkrai event happens.

Its where the motel to get Darkrai is. You're supposed to sleep in the motel, have a nightmare where Darkrai visits you, it leaves a Diary telling its location, and you go to the sailor and ask him to take you to the location of the island stated in the Diary.

But to get in the motel, you need the Membership Pass and the Mystery Gift. The Mystery Gift is obtainable at any PokeMart, the Membership Pass will be given to you when the Darkrai event happens, which it hasn't yet. So there's no legit Darkrais besides the Japanese ones.
 
how you get the mystery gift and the "something" pass to sleep at the hotel?

Nintendo will probably release the gift or item necessary to access the motel when they finally unmask Darkrai to the United States in the anime. As a competitive battler, I couldn't care less tho. ^^
 
they did release darkrai in japanese version, but not through the member card/motel event...
 
yh its 2 get darkrai... itll come out soon i reckon with the darkrai movie and all check pokemon/darkrai.com because they will show u how to get it soon
