lol wut? Swampert?

Okay...yeah, my Netbattle team is finally looking solid and getting nice results. However, I need a better bulky water. My attention turned to swampert the hawt and pwnful, so I was wondering if anybody has a good 3rd gen Swampert set? I'd prefer mixedpert over cursepert, but my mind is too stupid to rememebr 3rd gen mixedpert, especially the dang EVs. Anybody have a good swampert set? Currently (don't laugh):

EVs: 240 HP / 20 Atk / 188 Def / 60 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)

- Ice Beam

Yeah, I need some major help...

How is it Cursepert without Curse, Anti?

I'd never use Swampert without curse. Curse makes physical attacks even less effective against Swampert, and gives earthquake a needed boost for high-defense enemies like Suicune.

Without Special Attacks, Skarmory will just laugh at you and Whirlwind you away.

evs: 240 HP / 212 Def / 56 SpAtk is all it needs to work, you dont need any Attack or that much Sp.Att EVS, the ev spread i provided is enough to 2hko Weezing, Skrmory and Foretress with its Special Attack.

EDIT: Also no curse because your gonna get phased by Skarmory anyways, so its better to dent it with Special attacks.

Wow, never expected so many replies just from going out to dinner...anyhow, Masami made a mistake, no harm no foul. Itachi, every bulky poklemon NEEDS HP EVs, usually over 200, and swampert simply can't take physical hits without a bit of defense. I'm using Dark Azelf's spread.

As for the moveset...Well, I'll read the link first.

The moveset on that is fourth gen, ive just added Rock Slide in place of Stone Edge Removed Stealth Rock and shoved Rest in its place.

EDIT: Itachi, those EVs make swampert too vulnerable to physical attacks, especially from CBers. If I put them in defense to mend that, then I lose valuable HP

Also that last slot,Rest if you want it to last along time, Roar can work in conjunction with Spikes (if you have a spiker on your team)and prevent set ups. Rock Slide and HP Electric if you fear Gyarados and stuff.

Even Protect is useful for scouting moves.

240 HP, yeah...I don't hack lol...you can't in Netbattle :) Anyhow, I have skarmory on my team (guess who my special wall is...) so yeah. I have no bulky water, so yeah. I have the puffball to rid myself of sleep, which is really handy. Raikou handles gyarados...it outspeeds it after one DD, and I switch it in while the usser is powering up, so I can kill it with thunderbolt without getting clobbered...unless they run max speed, but who does? Yeah, I'll consider rock slide over hydro pump or ice beam...raikou scares the Mence kleads w/ HP ice...so yeah. I'm keeping EQ and rest for sure...it's a battle between RS, IB, and HP...lol

It needs HP EVs...as do all bulky pokemon...especially 3rd gen where CBmence is terrorizing everyone and for the record, swampert CAN make 101 subs w/ max HP...it craves HP, always. Doesn't matter though, I'm using DA's spread.

Go Hydro Pump and Ice Beam, it has decent coverage, along side EQ.

Counter/mirror coat is rather novelty, especially mirror coat...cursepert is batter in 4th gen when there is a far larger physical movepool. Mixedpert is my life lol
