5 horrible days. 4 of them where due to a blackout and 1 was because the damn electrical company took the power out in our building. Its a hilarious thing really cause I thought I missed a lot but it wasn't.

Two days ago our power was out for eight hours, it was kind of nice resorting to outside activities.

The longest I was out of power was during the Ice Storm of 1998. I think it was out for like two or three weeks. It happened just after the Christmas vacation, so the plus side was that it meant a month away from school in the middle of the year. XDD

Same here. I was living in Upstate New York (South Colton). I remember being out of power for, as you said, two to three weeks. I also remember having a lot of fun because we'd get our sleds out and slide down the middle of the road. :laugh:

Two days, and man was it boring.. xD; it allowed me to take some time away from all the electronics and just read, draw, whatever I could do in the light of a flashlight/candle, though. That was probably a good thing, in some way.

But yeah.. two days is our record, somehow we've never been hit hard enough to be powerless for a week or two.

3 Days of an ice storm. It was weird, because the grid was all messed up. Our neighbors had power, but not us.

There were trees blocking our road, and the house was like 40˚ F by the end. ;_;

Only a few hours.

A fuse blew and shorted out the power to the rest of the house and I didn't have the keys to the garage, so I couldn't get to the power box. I found the keys in the end and everything worked out fine. :D

Our house was stuck by lightning when I was around five or six... and it took forever to get everything back up-and-running in that old place. Luckily, I didn't do too many things that required electricity back then, so I was perfectly content. (b'')b

We don't get many power cuts round here, so I'd say a couple of hours, 3 tops.

Back in like '03-'04 we had that huge blackout in the US that lasted about two days. There's been one since then that was a bit longer, but by then I wasn't as addicted to the Internet as I had been. xD If I had one today, I'd probably just curl up in the corner with my DS. Assuming it was charged.
