4th Gen Loreli and Agatha

Alright I was thinking that the elite 4 is in the same place as red and the remakes
then why are Loreli and Agatha not in the elite 4 i can understand blue as he is a gym leader and he lost as champion but why are Koga,Bruno,and Lance still in the pokemon leauge (although Koga was new) they are the only characters from red/blue not in there
other than giovanni wich is explanible but why do will and karen replace them why do they just get rid of them?

every region has them,
oddly enough, you can battle all kanto gyms and the champion (Red)
but the game is absent of the two former elites :(

Well, Lorelei probably gave up her position in order to protect Four Island (or whichever one she's from in FRLG). Agatha... either retired or died.

Bruno stuck around because he doesn't really have anything better to do. Lance probably used his hacking abilities to gain the Champion position. I have no idea where Will and Karen came from, but Koga was probably chosen because he had an obvious replacement ready- Janine mentions in FRLG that she's being trained in the use of Poison-types by her father, so Koga, already being a senior leader, made the most sense to take an Elite Four position.

Blue beat Red, so that's why he's not champion (which you've said. :)) Red probably retired from the Champion position because he is a mute and uses Pikachu. Who would use Pikachu? for some reason and so Lance probably became Champion because he was the 4th Elite FOur member. Agatha probably died and Lorelei probably retired and went to Four Isladn to protect the Lapras' or whatever. xD And then theres Agatha, who probably retired because she's old or died. Remember, it takes three years after R/B/Y, and Agatha was old anyway. :\ I have no idea why Koga became a Elite Four member. Why not Blaine? :\ Why the 5th Gym Leader? :|

Well, I don't think Blaine would want to leave Cinnabar Island. Also, Koga had a replacement in training...Janine. There might have been a contest for the Elite Four position and Koga won, who knows?

Maybe Lorelei wanted to return home to Four Island?
Agatha was getting old.
Both might've just decided to retire.

Having said that, Koga retired from the Gym, to become E4 because Janine was getting old enough to run the gym herself.
Will joined them from wherever he comes from.
And Karen took Lance's place as the 4th Elite, allowing him to take the place of Champion again.

Also, those referencing the Manga should refrain from doing so, they're unrelated, as there is more than one Pokemon Manga, allowing different events and timelines altogether.
Because in the Adventure Manga, Will and Karen are part of Team Rocket.
In-Game, they never were or will be.

Personally, I thought Lorelei was a good character to keep around and I am sadened she never appeared in GSC or HGSS. But Agatha DOES get referenced in Azalea Town. Kurt keeps a large picture of himself, Oak and Agatha (who simply mentioned as an Older woman with intense eyes, a fact mentioned about Agatha in the past) so its possible she retired.

Lorelei's fate is addressed in FRLG's Japanese version where she says she feels like she cant be an Elite and Protect Floe Island from evil-doers like Team Rocket. In all likely-hood Lorelei has retired and Agatha has either retired/died.
