Lost of Interest? D:

I occasionally get that feeling, but after playing a bit of a different game, like Fifa, Mario Kart or Call of Duty, then I get a massive urge to pick up my DS and throw in Soul Silver and smash up a few Magikarps.

i have the agree it this thread, sometimes pokemon is boring, because u made the same thing ever time. Some times only cool thing is Wifi Battle

while I do keep updated with the anime, I don't play the games constantly (the last time I played a pkmn game was about a year ago, I'm waiting for the english version of BW right now), and I'm not active on this forum at all.

But that doesn't mean I don't like pkmn. Pokemon is something I can never fully turn away from. I don't know how it is for other people, but for me, just because I'm not actively doing something pkmn related doesn't mean I'm losing interest in it. It's just like other things, you don't always have to be listening to songs to be interested in music (in fact I'd go crazy if I had to listen to music 24/7 just to show that I like music xD). If you really are "losing interest" in pkmn then take a break from it and come back later, I don't think anyone can be "into" something constantly without a few breaks or two doing something else. It's human nature to want to find something else that's more "new and exciting" when you've been doing the same thing for awhile.

I also get that feeling, and even I haven't completed Soul Silver yet, after having it for so long. I also don't watch the anime anymore because it bores me (the anime never was that good to be honest). However, I still can't detach myself from Pokémon. I'll keep buying the games even if I never finish them, and wherever I see a sign of Pokémon I can't ignore it. It's in my blood even though I'm losing interest in it.

Sometimes I don't even feel like Wi-Fi battling on my B/W or SS as it sometimes gets boring since the entire mechanics and all are the same. But I still do touch the game and compete with other people.
