Lost my pokewalker somehow recently, and doesnt look like I will get getting it back. Had Jasmine's Steelix (Rusty) which I had raised to level 70 and EV trained stored. Around 10,000W have been gathered, but are stored on the game.

Is there any way to recover the pokemon that was sent to the pokewalker? I am hoping that the game keeps a copy of that data somewhere and that it is recoverable in case the device stuffs up...

Also, if I was to purchase a new/used pokewalker and set it up for my game, would I still retain the maps I have unlocked and the watts I have gained that were already xfered back to the game?

Any help is much appreciated :)

I'm quite sure that there was a force recall option on there, you could just hunt around the interface for that.

The maps would still be there, you would just have to resinc it, meaning that you have to delete the previous records. There's an option there, click L + down + X. Thats the only way to reset the walker; you can use another walker after that.

Try out the help thread, thats helpfully stickied, next time.

How to get your Pokemon back when losing your Pokewalker should be in the manual as well (both pokewalker/game). I have a feeling it could also be in the FAQ thread sticky (there is a Pokewalker guide at least linked to there). A new Pokewalker will not keep the records of watts/unlocked routes, sadly, to my understanding.

As said, if you have any other questions please ask them in the Help thread sticky at the top of the section. Closed.
