Uh, you do realize that when Misty said that, Ash was crying.
Brock left too! *gasps*
Ash didn't start crying until BOTH of his friends left. Why do people keep thinking Ash only cried for Misty? And so what if he did? People act like if they get a bit sad, it means they're automatically in love.
You wouldn't cry if someone that you didn't like left.
That's not true at all. A friend would most likely cry if a friend where leaving. By that logic, Brock secretely loves Ash or Misty (hell, maybe a threesome!) because he was crying too. He blamed his tears because of the "onions" (who the hell calls riceballs ONIONS?), but you could obviously tell he was sad that they were splitting apart.
Why didn't Ash think JUST about Misty after all of them split apart? At least for a couple of seconds, we could have gotten some flashback with just the two of them. Instead, 4kids has to create another flashback for them.
Oh yeah, as far as I know, Elite Trainer Raven isn't a romantic or anything and in that case, I wouldn't trust him to judge and say his opinion.
I've been thinking the same thing looooong before I noticed Elite Trainer Raven was here.
No offense or anything but you should trust a love expert when it comes to this.
So Ash and May obviously love each other as well, since they were both accused of liking each other by love experts in "The Bicker The Better!". This isn't hard to put together.
Wouldn't Misty have had a dissapointed look on her face if she found out Ash didn't like
her?Just look at everyones facial expressions in "Gotta Catch Ya Later".
Shouldn't Misty just have confessed her feelings then? That was the PERFECT opportunity, but instead she just rides off and Ash doesn't even look back and think of her in particular. He thinks of Misty... AND BROCK.
Why didn't Misty ride back if she thought she realized Ash loved her too? Regardless of Misty's look, there's still nothing in the episode to signify that Ash thought of her as a good friend.
It proves he does know what love is,or at least a general idea.If he
didn't,he would have his usual dense look.
I still don't remember the episode. But still, there's more evidence pointing that he doesn't understand the concept than him knowing what he is. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a general gist of it, but that doesn't prove he actually knows what it is.
Maybe the writers made him
smart in that episode.
Probably.
And why does everyone keep forgetting Giselle?
Ash didn't fall in love with Giselle. He thought she was pretty, as did every other guy. And he quickly forgot his "feelings" when him and Giselle battling. Love and attraction aren't the same thing. It's like saying Onigumo truly loved Kikyo. He LUSTED for her.
