Lucario?

Hey guys I lot of people out their are mad that Ash doesn't have a riolu/lucario on his team. If you want him to have Lucario on his team which pokemon do you think he would give up. My opinion is Buizel. I just hate that weisal.

Ash would look really stupid with a Lucario/Riolu and he looks awesome with Buizel, though better with a Floatzel. *hopes Buizel evolves* I'd never give up any of his Pokémon, except Pikachu.​

I think the reason why he doesn't have either evolutions, is simply because of the potential with the storylines... I mean, cause Ash can use Aura, it would only seem natural that Ash would train it, and hone it, which could come into conflict with regular gym battles, not to mention casting a shadow over Pikachu.

If I wanted Satoshi to get a Lucario, which I don't since I hate it, I would want him to get rid of Grotle since Shinji already has a Torterra. I think that Gliscor is too funny to abondon even though Shinji already has one.

Anyway ash with a Lucario would not be good and right now his team is actually perfect and well balanced. I don't want any Pokemon to go.

We've been so long without a LUCARIO4ASH thread and then you had to go and ruin it. Dx

There have been so many Riolu and Lucario in the series already that for Ash to have one would be overexposure to the extreme. Lucario had its own movie, and was owned by Maylene and Riley, and Riolu had its own two-parter in the anime. As for dropping a team member, Ash didn't do that all the way through Hoenn, and he isn't likely to do that in Sinnoh. And besides, Ash has developed a close bond to all of his Pokémon - he isn't likely to release one easily, and he certainly won't drop one just to catch a Riolu/Lucario.

Well, unless he's an Auratard like everyone else in this bloody fandom, and he'll take one look at Lucario and immediately fanboy over it.

As for me I really like this idea because Ash and Lucario would be great team and who should Ash release? Maybe Gliscor to go for example with Paul's Gliscor back to their group

Hmm, I see nothing wrong with it, if not for that movie. It makes Ash's interaction with any Riolu or Lucario special, which puts Pikachu at second place. I find it highly unlikely, but the possibilities…

None of Ash's Pokemon will be replaced. Loss of any of them would be lethal after they've done hardcore development in the show. Lucario and Ash would be like Brown on a Green background.

Simple answer:

NO!

Ash has had intermissions with Riolu and Lucario, but I don't see him getting one any time soon at least. He will probably never get one, because it is unneeded. He has a perfect team, and for the person that said get rid of Pikachu, that will absolutely NEVER happen. Pikachu was his first Pokemon, and the last one he'd ever release, give to Prof. Oak. I would never want to see a Riolu/Lucario in Ash's team. It would be a nightmare. It betrays everything Ash's team has been worked up to be. No Riolu and no Lucario. It wont happen (probably will never happen).
