I was pretty surprised a thread for it wasn't made yet, seeing its popularity on the net and all.

So, Lucky Star. Start the discussions and other things you are supposed to do in anime threads.

It is good. In fact, its awesome.
However you'll need to know quite a lot of Japanese culture/subculture in order to really understand the humor.

Fansubs with looong explanations of jokes are so boring :/

I didn't think the series was anything too special at first, but after the firing of the first writer, it got so much better. It somewhat reminds me of a less structured Azumanga Daiou.

The series looks pretty cute from what I've seen. I plan on sitting down and watching it to see if I like it. The art style is very cute for what it is. <3

Why I have to say that looks like my old banner thar!!1! 8D

Anywho, my favorite part of Lucky Star has to be Lucky Channel. AKIRA-SAMA IS WIN. There need to be more bipolar lolis out there (besides the Higurashi type ^^;)

Lucky Channel is a great gimmick IMO - practically 2 shows in one.
Though personally, I like how Taniguchi... I mean Shiraishi is growing up and starting to handle Akira in a way he won't get hurt as much.

As for the image, I found it on one of the *chans.

Dude that anime is stupid and funny at the same time! I've been trying to watch the complete episodes. So far no luck :(

I'm on episode 6 of this right now.
Although there doesn't seem to be a plot, I like it! ^_^
    It's a really cute series. : )

I'm up to episode 11, and believe me, there is no plot AT ALL.

But there is character development... like how Tsukasa has a rather strange fondness for Balsamic vinegar.

I've heard of this anime from a friend. I like the opening its awsome. ^_^

Yep yep! I like the long haired purple girl.I forgett the name.
