Rome wasn't built in a day.

team been scripting? it's one person. and this hack has been started since probably March. >_>' Also, it's so easy to say, yet not so easy to do.

And what "Pokemon Program" are you speaking of, pocket? T_T
Also

Red Apple - I don't know what the hell you're working on
Todoroki - You still didn't obtain any tile resources or whatever
Pocket - is um. well whatever, no scripts are being done.
Milk - Busy on his/her hack. No graphics being done.
Giratina the master or whatever - Do you still exist?
Me - Holding up the hack.

Status: What we need to get a Progressing Hacks thread up:
- More presentable tiles (Todoroki/Red Aple)
- At LEAST two scripts (Pocket)
- Complete walking/running hero OWs (Me)

I'll try to make the scripts. It would take me about a week to finish the scripts
that are contained within the story on the first post. Bugs and glitches will slow
me down + requesting help on the Script Help Thread + school would take me about
2 weeks in total since no one seems to be helping out. Can we at least get
the Progressing Hacks thread out there before Summer Vacation? T_T'

WELL HOW CAN I WORK ON UR HACK IF U DONT GIMME THE ROM HUH?

hmm, this is your hack, err team, have you started it yet?

It's both.
Also, of course I started it.
We have very little done, of course.
After all, if we had a lot done, it'd
be in Progressing Hacks. I would make
a thread, but this hack isn't progressing.

Anyway, I have about 4-5 Maps,
1-2 scripts, intro fully edited, and
a lot of bugs...

WELL HOW CAN I WORK ON UR HACK IF U DONT GIMME THE ROM HUH?

Calm down, Green Grape.
I can't give you it due to the following reasons:
1) You have no outline of work you're planning.
2) The scripter needs to go first, unless he's not doing anything,
which is the current situation.
3) The job I asked you to do was to either get tile resources
since you gave up on the custom tiling, and I've yet to see
any results.
4) Your music is remixed and set, yet you haven't planned
on inserting them any time soon.

Until this hack starts progressing, we won't
have any other threads up. Likewise, once we
do get some work done, a thread will follow it
quickly. Right now, we're at the point
of where we need more advanced scripters
(once more) since our only scripter, Pocket,
has come to a stand-still.

i already told u, i will insert g/s/c music remixes

Could I have some proof of this music?
You haven't even named any of the songs
you remixed, nor have you given any mention
of you remixing the GSC Music. The last thing
I posted related to that was me telling you
that I expected GSC Music..

Also, don't remix any of the songs Magnius
already has. I'm planning to use his
music. Feel free to remix any others
that he did not do.

wow, my stupid posts...of course you started....um...here

EDIT: the 1 on the right had a pixel off

PROGRESSSSSSS.
There pretty nice, but the guy with the yellow
trench coat.. The coat is a bit bland in terms of shades.
Other than that, everything's fine. Also, I've seen your
Germple and Wurmpatina... I'm planning to add
"Alternate Formes" of pokemon. Not 100% Fakemon,
just different formes. Could you possibly make some?
:o

ok, sure why not
wait, you mean stuff like germple and...

oh,
[PokeCommunity.com] Lunarock Group

The simplicity in those three pokemon made me
just notice that the Gurmple and Wurmpatina are just recolours O_O'
The detail got me snatched up in all the colours..

Anyway, do you know how to make different poses as opposed to
merely recolouring? By alternate formes, I mean more than just
a colour change. Like give Gengar wings (Of course, that's an example)
or make a new evolution for eevee or give Riolu a female-specific
evolution, etc.

hmm, i'll try
filler,hjggjk

I wonder how many pages we could go with the same progress.
Anyway, it's not necessary. Right now, I'll just give you your assignment
so we can finally open up a progressing hacks thread. Right now,
could you sprite the big versions of the male and female hero?

The overworlds are on the first post. If you're done, get started
on the back sprites. And thanks for helping out! :D

Hey penumbra! Hey mabey I could make map now?

What kind of map? What map? O_O' I don't have any problems
with mapping. The only mapping-related problem is custom tiles,
which no one has got yet, and small mapping errors which will be
fixed once we get the new tiles..

I haven't told you the description of the next town, so I'll tell you them now.
You can map all of them, some I might edit majorly, some I might barely touch,
and some I might be happy with in total.. So here's the next three town's description:
(By the way, on the Lumin map, you start from the far left coast and the town
hanging on the cliff, which is Flowerain. In order, follow the route to orange, then
go up to the next two from there)

Emerald Valley: All orange circles on the map are kind of like
"Pit stops". Nothing exciting or interesting are in pit stops,
but there are healing spots (no PokeCenter though!)
and a few houses. It is what it says. It's a valley, so you should
put many ledges and trees. A Valley is basically a rough terrain.
Maybe you can include a small stream at the edge of town..
All in all, it's a sparse population.

As you travel up the path, the nearby sandstorm brushes your face..
Finally, the next town arrives..

Sea Vista town: It's a blue circle. Blue circles are fairly medium-sized
towns. There should be many people wandering around the town.
houses in a linear pattern.. It's a pretty moderate population.
Also, there are a few nice things here like a Lighthouse
(COUGHcustomtilesCOUGH) and a boat-rental building (customtiles).
The first "Gym-Leader" spin-off will be here. Of course, there will be no
actual Gym. To describe the area, it's right on the seaside. To the
top-left corner of the town, you should be able to see a pinch of the
ocean.

After you get a boat rental and get ferried away to the next city,
you notice cooling temperatures and chilly breezes.

Ocean Rush City: a city elevated above water. Water is swarming the
perimeter. Everything here is man-made. Things should be slightly
"higher-tech" than the previous two towns. Forestry and grass areas
are very sparse, as buildings and houses and many landmarks populate
the area. This place is PACKED. There should people visible most of
the time. Everything is concreted and stone. The only special landmark
here is the Fountain in the middle of the city (custom tile). What makes
this city so unique is the fact that there are roads above you (modern
revamp of the wooden bridge).

I'll PM you the link when I get around..

do u want me to insert r/s/e music remixes? maginus never has done that before

RSE Music? Well..
1) You already have some, no?
2) Is there really a point of remaking 3rd Gen Music
in a 3rd gen game.. Besides, I HATED RSE Music. It's so
different from the nice beeping tunes of GSC..

Also, is it possible for you to remix Earthbound music and
insert them? I saw a youtube video once, so I think it's possible..

i think i said rse remix music not rse music, and i cant insert d/p/pt music because the sappy i use doesnt work perfectly, and what in the world is earthbond?

@red apple: Earthbound is a game. Look it up.

@penumbra: Il start making the maps and show them to you to see if you like them. If you do then when you give me the link il put them in.(Wich i have to do by hand again but who cares). And if you wanted I could do some person scripting. Like when the people talk. And also trainer battles

@Red: Earthbound is an awesome game. The music is a bit
too simple, so if you think Earthbound is possible, try going up
a notch and get Mother 3 (Japanese name of Earthbound 2) music.
Search up Mother 3 since that's what it's commonly referred to, as opposed
to "Earthbound 2" since it was never released outside of Jap. Also,
either way, I don't want remixes of 3rd gen music unless I specify otherwise
for specific songs. Actually, you might as well remix as much as you want
and I could just choose. That way, we'll have more progress ticked off on our
hack. Thanks for your participation!

@Todoroki: Okay. Thanks for your positive efforts. :D
And yes, scripts are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. I might move
around the scripts to fit appropriate people, and I have to tell you the
pokemon they have first..
