[Map] Mac-Compatible GS Map Editor?

    It's been some time since I've hacked but lately I've been entertaining the idea of making a game (or at least adding some Fakemon and new areas to an existing game). To start, I downloaded GoldMap hoping I could run it in Wine. The program opened, but I couldn't get it to load any ROMs. Is there anything else I need to make GoldMap run on Mac, or an alternative? I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6.
