Haven't seen any Mafia games around here; so might as well make one!
Welcome to Mafia! The main basis of this game is that there is the Town, the majority, who can vote people to "lynch" in the day, killing them, and the Mafia, the minority, know who each other are and can choose to kill someone each night. The winning faction must eliminate the other faction, or simply outnumber them for the Mafia as from then on they can take over the lynching.
At the start of the game you will be assigned a role. All the roles and what they can do will be listed below. Arguably, the funnest part of Mafia is the roles you can get, ranging from the simplest role, Citizen, to the head honcho of the Mafia, the Godfather. At night, the Mafia will choose together what actions they will take, and will have the Godfather send all the night actions to me. Key rules below:
1. NO talking about Mafia outside of this thread, through any form of contact UNLESS it is night and you and the person/people you are talking are Mafia. No talking with the dead either.
2. You MAY NOT quote, screenshot or write word to word anything I send to you in PM, such as investigation results and notifications like being attacked and healed. Doing this breaks the game, so don't do it.
3. If you are Mafia, you MAY NOT privately communicate during the day; this goes for town and neutrals as well.
4. If you do not post for multiple in-game days, you will be replaced with a reserve. If you want to be a reserve, PM me or post in this topic saying so.

Town
Town
Citizen - You are a Citizen! You have no special abilities.
Sheriff - You are the Sheriff! Each night, you may PM me telling me who you want to check. You will be notified if they are Mafia or the Serial Killer.
Doctor - You are the Doctor! Each night, you may choose to PM me telling me who you want to save. If that person is attacked that night, they will not die and you will be notified that they were saved from death. If multiple people attack the same person, it will take an equal amount of Doctors to save the person.
Vigilante - You are the Vigilante! Each night, you may choose to PM me telling me who you want to kill. You may only kill once. When the kill is shown, it will be made clear that a Vigilante killed them.
Bodyguard - You are the Bodyguard! Each night you may choose to protect someone. If that person is targeted that night, you will die, but kill the attacker, and the person attacked will not die unless they were attacked by multiple people. Killing the attacker will pierce all immunities.
Investigator - You are the Investigator! Each night you may choose to PM me telling me who you want to investigate. You will be given a group of roles, one of which that person is. Here are the groups:
Citizen/Godfather/Mayor
Sheriff/Investigator/Consigliere
Doctor/Bodyguard/Dancer
Vigilante/Mafioso/Serial Killer
Mayor - You are the town's Mayor! You may choose to reveal yourself by PMing me at anytime during the day, and when you do so, your vote will count for three.
Sheriff - You are the Sheriff! Each night, you may PM me telling me who you want to check. You will be notified if they are Mafia or the Serial Killer.
Doctor - You are the Doctor! Each night, you may choose to PM me telling me who you want to save. If that person is attacked that night, they will not die and you will be notified that they were saved from death.
