Hey all. Been playing Pokemon for years on the DS/Gameboy but only recently got back into the Pokemon TCG. I've created several decks, the most recent of which I'd like to get reviewed here. So here goes!

    2 Magmortar Lv. X MT

    2 Magmortar SW

    2 Magmar(1 MT, 1 SW)

    2 Tangrowth Lv. X AR

    2 Tangrowth SF

    2 Tangela ( 1 SF, 1 GE)

    1 Leafeon Lv. X MD

    1 Leafeon RR

    1 Eevee RR

    1 Flygon RR

    1 Vibrava RR

    1 Trapinch SW

    1 Claydol GE

    1 Baltoy SV

    1 Uxie LA

    Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums
    1 Premier Ball
    1 Luxury Ball
    2 Level Max
    1 Life Herb
    1 Palmers Contribution
    1 Team Galactic's Wager
    1 Buck's Training
    1 Battle Tower
    3 Bebe's Search
    4 Roseanne's Research
    1 Cynthias Feelings
    1 Cyrus's Initiative
    2 Expert Belt
    2 Night Maintenance
    2 Warp Point
    1 Bench Shield

    Energy:
    8 Fire Enegy
    5 Grass Energy
    2 Multi Energy

    Strategy:
The main strategy of this deck is to get Leafeon X out first and to have a waiting Magmar/Magmortar on the bench. Leafeon uses "Plus Energy" and "Energy Forcing" to attach up to 3 energy a turn to Magmortar, over the span of about 2 turns. If Leafeon X is still alive at this point, switch for free using Rainbow Float, and sweep with a 6+ energy Magmortar doing 120+damage. If Magmortar gets injured, i can retreat him to the bench, attach another energy to heal 40 dmg(with Leaf Refresh combined with Flame Body) and possibly flip 2 heads with Tangrowth's Healing Growth. I heavn't yet decided whether or not to have Tangrowth X as an attacker. It can do pretty decent damage, but i'm not sure whether or not i have the resources to energy it up, etc. I'm sure i've missed some stuff, since I don't have Leafeon Lv. X yet and can't test the deck out, but if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Thanks!

*Update* I'm toying with the idea of adding an Infernape SP Lv. X, to force switches and to get rid of anyone who i can't take(shouldn't be anyone, but just in case). If I add it, I might get rid of the 2nd Magmortar X and Tangrowth X, but i'm not exactly sure.

Too many evolution lines and one-ofs.You're too vulnerable to having a vital Pokemon prized. Azelf LA can help with that, but the deck is just too slow, even for an evolution deck, to be effective against anything, especially SP.

Find a way to squeeze 4 Rare Candy in, and ditch Team Galactic's Wager, for starters. And figure out a way to get in a Broken Time Space, in case you face a CurseGar deck.

Alright, that sounds good. I already have a Fire/Colorless deck, so i'm really trying not to go that route. I've heard Togekiss GE can help with getting massive amounts of energy on Magmortar fast. I've also added Heatran X and Heatran to pad Flame Bluster.

*UpdateX2* I've completely reworked this deck. Not too much of the original remains, but of what does, and what i've done, i'd like to get reviewed again so here goes.
    **17-18 Manz on this one**

    1 Magmortar Lv. X MT

    3 Magmortar SW

    3 Magmar (2 Mt, 1 SW)

    1 Heatran Lv. X SF

    1 Heatran AR

1 Infernape SP Lv. X RR

1 Infernape SP RR(Maybe add another?)

    1 Togekiss GE

    1 Togetic GE

    1 Togepi GE

    1 Claydol GE

    1 Baltoy SV

    1 Uxie LA

    2 Jirachi LA

*I realize that with Togekiss kinda just stuck in there, it's a bit clunky, but i'm not sure what else to use to power Magmortar up very quickly. I also am aware that i need RC's, but people charge way too much for them and for now at least, don't have access to them.

    Trainers/Suporters/Stadiums

    2 Premier Ball

    1 Luxury Ball

    1-2 Level Max

    1 Palmer's Contribution

    1 Team Galactic's Wager

    1 Looker's Investigation

    2 Buck's Training

    2 Broken Time-Space

    3 Bebe's Search

    4 Roseanne's Research

    2-3 Night Maintenance

1 Super Scoop Up(for after Togekiss' done it's thing, if i choose to keep it in)

    2 Warp Point

    1 Bench Shield

    1 Amulet Coin(for Jirachi)

    Energy:

    13 Fire
    2 Sp Metal

Could go down to 2-2-1 Magmortar Lvl X and rock 2-2-1 Togekiss (or 2-2-2 if you negotiate a way to fit it in). Less likely to get prize screwed or flat out killed with the Togekiss chain, which could be really important since you're relying on Serene Grace to get your energon down fast.
