Well, I guess I'll post up my stuff. Well, here goes... have to rehost almost everything. Half of this stuff is old, but half of it... isn't so old. The old stuff is posted up due to the fact that I'm still... okay with them.

Old, old Froslass Chao pixel art from December 07. Someone has already made me aware that Froslass isn't supposed to have feet... I didn't think about it in the process of making the PA. XD

Revamps, some old, some newer. The Zapdos, Dewgong, Clefairy, and Ditto are all the most recent. I decided not to post up the shiny ones.

I was bored, so I did a couple revamps of revamps (lulz). As goes for the Vulpix... well, I was just experimentin' with everything, so there's intentionally three different ones posted up... I couldn't decide. xD; As goes for both... yes, I AM aware that they're a bit over-dithered. I was messing around with dithering, and I think I did pretty decently with using it up to the extent in which I sorta tried to apply some sorta texture.

This one's also from late 07, early 08. Just something I randomly came up with. Poses based on US's Ulquiorra Schiffer custom sheet, and I just made a template in Sonic-like proportions....

This one was also just randomly come up with, but also sorta a remake of an old one. Onigiri! XD This was before I knew that they were generally filled with fish, so I just made the filling look sorta like a fruity glaze-ish-stuff, I guess. XD

GIR is so cyoote. =3 I was really bored. Late 07 or early 08. In a bland, cartoony-like shading for a reason: to make it seem more GIR-like, if y'know what I mean.

Kirby Air Ride sprite project-thing. I've been planning this out for awhile, and later on decided to do this on my own. Haven't updated this thing in like, forever.

Blargh. Squirtle looks terrible. NO C+C, PLZ D8 >_>;

Piplup pixel art. Turned out okay. "U" up at top left was because I posted it on PP... don't ask.

Eevee pixel over. Sorta old. Shading on tan fur turned out terribly.

Chao RPG sheet. I got okay progress on this, but I was planning to make it much, much longer. I've animated 'em, but don't feel like posting them up... I even did a buncha wireframes that I animated, too, for the walking/running for the Hero & Dark Chao, and the Fly, Run, Swim, and Power types.

Chaomon~ I used to just edit the Tiny Chao Garden sprites for awhile (quite a bit, quite a few of 'em, too), then made my own template... after awhile, I wasn't satisfied with it, so I made this one. The Sceptile was a request on pe2k.

Well, that's it for now. I have a lot more, I think, but I forgot if half of those are really worth showing....
And if you have any suggestions as to what I should do next, please do mention, because despite the fact that I'm workin' on this egg-hatchery-thing that I may or may not post up, I have no ideas or inspiration whatsoever.
I really need to break out of all this editing and crap. >.>

Caterpie scratch. I'm actually pretty satisfied with how it turned out; it ended up much better than I thought it would.

These, for the most, are really, really nice. The mixes are imaginative and well put together (although some are missing their black outline)

The bigger pieces of Piplup and the Frosslass chao are delicious, well proportioned, excellently shaded and generally pleasing pieces.

These are amazing. The outlines are perfect, the shading is flawless; I'm not sure what else I can say. This is some of the best pixel art I've ever seen. Ever.

Thanks for the comment, I greatly appreciate it; however, would you mind clarifying what you mean by "some are missing their black outlines", and also showing me what you mean? Despite how old some of these are, maybe I can see what I can do. =3

Unless you're just talking about the ones that are all color outlines. But nonetheless, I'd appreciate it! =3


Kenji: Like I said, I can just be harsh on myself at times. Especially lately, because I haven't been using my spriting too efficiently (Maybe it's just because it seems like I do most stuff that just about everyone else does in spriting... O_o; ). Though lately I've been working on a sprite egg hatchery-like system that I may post up as a shop in the appropriate forum. I think that'll be fun~! X3

It's generally the ones with all colour outlines ;] It's not a major issue, I just get picky over style rules ahahaha.

Ahah, I hope your humble outlook changes because you will be getting a lot of attention once some more people look. The majority of people on here are spriters, not pixel artists. (Crap! Competition!)
You can tell by your "fusions". They are not copy and paste parts then expertly "sewn" together, they are completely adapted into your own style! Be it that makes less black outline than a normal sprite, but like I said before you are an artist more than you are a spriter. In my book that gives you more artistic deviation.

You are more advanced than most here, so I'm sorry to say it'll be hard getting some C+C, or any comments beside "WOW!".
That being said, we could also help with ideas or things you get stuck on during the process of making the sprite, more so than the refinery of it.

I think you should try making some trainers, it's the only thing you are lacking from your large quantity of things.

Vulpix actually looks like it's got fur, instead of the orange skin it could be mistaken for in the games.
Kirby is awesome, but that's a lot of colours.
You say squirtle is terrible, but it's better than I could dream of making. Then again, I'm mainly a spriter.

I can only find two issues, one which has already been pointed out and the other, on the splices, are the back outline issues and on some shading issues (specifically the Pelliper/Swalot fusion). Once these issues are fixed, your work will truly be flawless! Also, your Squirtle pixel art looks lovely!! :D It is so cute! :3

Actually, no, it's not. I know that it appears to be a little cell-shaded and all, but if it were in that style, the shading would be much, much simpler. I'd also have anti-aliasing around the edges of the outline, and yeah. XD

Thank you. ^_^; Actually, that sheet is just a wireframe sheet, meant for the viewers to edit into any char they want. I didn't have the intention of adding any "skin" to it, but I may some time now that y'mention it. ^^;

Yeah, I don't really support the whole copy and paste thing. I believe that it's more contructive and efficient to add things to it on your own and try to use your own shading. ^^;
Really? I remember how I used to love drawing, but for some reason it feels like I've "demoted" myself a little in that area. O_o; That's pretty much what I started out with.

Devamps? I've actually done a couple devamps here and there, but for some reason, anymore, just reshading the sprite to the older style(s) doesn't seem like enough, ever since I saw examples of scratch devamping, which is a great concept. Something I'm so good at yet is actually thinking of what the anatomy and whatnot will appear as, well, at least I can't get a clear image in my head. I guess I could practice with just regular devamping. =3
And I can get a couple devamps done, if you want entries for your project. I have no problem with that. ^_^b

Oh, you mean the revamped revamped Vulpix, right?
For some reason, on pe2k, I entered a contest with the Umbreon one. The judge, however, was a bit stereotypical with dithering, saying it just makes sprites look weird, which made me lose a little bit of my patience; not trying to apply this to myself, but... if you apply dithering efficiently, you can get a quality look from it. But... I'm rambling again. xD
The Kirby sheet? Oh, yeah, I used the official Kirby colors for that, along with attempting the style~ ^^;
Iunno... I guess it's just that something looks funny. Maybe it's the eyes, or the head or something. I just can't seem to put my finger on it. O_o;
I don't get the Piplup & Eevee joke, though. Clarification? xD;

Though I am already aware of the fact that some of them, sepcifically the first ones, have little/no black outlines, so over time I stopped unincluding them.

ANYWAYS, love the variety in your work, and well, there's nothing else I can say....just...wow.

For the shading problem, assuming the sprite (the Pelipper sprite) follows the standard rules of a Pokemon sprite, the light source should be the top left. However, the shading is awkward as it would be better suited if it was higher up, toward the light source. It kind of makes the light seem as if it is coming from the middle-left, if you get what I mean. :\

As for the black outline, on the original Ralts sprite, part of the outline is black, to sign the darkest parts of the sprites (well, all of the Pokemon srites have a black outline) but your fusion doesn't. I hope I helped and yet again, I must say your sprites are amazing! :D

Hmm. Mmhm, I see what you're saying... however...

• Pelilot: First of all, the reason that the entire front body has been shaded on Pelilot is due to the fact that it's still almost just as exposed to the lighting as the head is. Oh, wait, that is kinda awkward how I just executed that, isn't it.... Oops. I'll see what I can do.
• Ralplup: Yeah, that is true now that you point it out. I still have to fix that one; I think that was one of the older fusions in which I intentionally unincluded the black outlines.
