Make a Mega: Vote on these candidates!

Back in the early days of Daily, we had numerous Make-a-Mega articles where PC members came up with designs of new Megas for Pokemon, as well as came up with e.g. a new Ability, etc: https://daily.pokecommunity.com/?s=make-a-mega We're planning to bring this back! But we need a Pokemon to start out with.

As winter is upon us (sorry southern hemisphere folk, I know), we'll start with an Ice-type... but which one of these would you most like to see get a Mega? Please vote in the poll! You've got 2 days to vote.

I think Jynx is long overdue because she is an ice/psychic. Dewgong is quite irrelevant because Lapras was released in the same generation as it. Delibird has a paradox form, and Vanilluxe is mono-ice. Jynx deserves some love because she was considered a trio with the like of Electabuzz and Magmar. Now it feels like Jynx was left behind and I believe that should change. Give Jynx the respect she deserves.

Voted Delibird because it's Christmas but now I'm getting ideas for Vanilluxe... it could become a different flavor ice cream and gain a new type. So much potential :'D

Dewgong wins! But only just - one vote was the difference. Maybe we could consider Vanilluxe another time?

I missed out on the vote, but I would've definitely voted for delibird and or vanilluxe if the option were still available. I mean seriously, there are too many gen 1 megas already, give more to johto, sinnoh, unova, and especially kalos which introduced only diancie mega for gen 6 mega pokedex.

I'd rather get a new evo than a Mega for Delibird and Jynx tbh. Vanniluxe is stronger than Dewgong so I'd rather see Dewgong get one out of these four... though that would mean yet another gen 1 mega which is not super appealing to me.

Haha, I generally would agree with gen 1 bias. That said, unlike many other gen 1 Megas, Dewgong really could use a buff in some way. And it was apparently going to get an alternate typing in Alola going by this year's gigaleak, only for that idea to turn into Primarina...
