[Battle✓] Making a battle start with hail active

In my Emerald hack I'm trying to make it so Glacia's battle starts with Hail. Although I managed to figure out how to do that - thanks to the Weather hacking development thread, when the battle starts, the text says "It is raining."
I'd much prefer if the text was "It started to hail!" (which is already a line that exists within the game, at 0x5CB7A7 and 0x5CC60C), so how would I go on to do this?
If anyone could please help, that'd be magnificent. Thank you.

That thread says you need to put put F3 00 at 0x3FE602 (three snow flakes) and 0x3FE608 (steady snowing) for the correct text to display. I haven't tested it but perhaps that's the issue? You're in emerald, so the offsets would not be the same for you.

Try putting F3 00 at 0x5CC922 and 0x5CC928
