making a map "outdoors" in advanced map

    Hi! I'm working on a romhack in emerald version and I can't figure out how to tell the game that the player can run/use their bike on a map I made. Additionally, search engines are not kind to me - all I can get is workout tracking apps if I search "advanced map running" or whatever. Thanks for the help!
     
    I figured it out! I don't know exactly why this happens but the game considers maps in bank zero to be outdoors, and considers all other banks to be indoors (as far as I can tell at least lol)
