Hey, so I'm trying to have a conditional branch for one of my NPC's were if the first pokemon in the players party is a shiny then the NPC will say an extra line of text. But I can't get it working.

I've tried using the "def shiny?" script in Pokemon Essentials but I just can't get it to work, any ideas and/or help?

    Thank you.

In your NPC event, have a conditional branch with the condition "$player.first_pokemon.shiny?". It'll check if the first member of the player's party is shiny and provide extra dialogue.
