[Scripting Question] Making Persistent Data Compatible with Pokemon Essentials

    Hi all,

I have just started playing around with Pokemon Essentials, so if this is a dumb question, please be gentle!

I am trying to use persistent data (as outlined in BLACK_MAGE's script here: https://pastebin.com/tPqJY6Cc) to allow my game to hold on to certain variables even after the game is closed or a new game is started.

However, the script is incompatible with Pokemon Essentials, as certain classes referenced in the script are not used in Pokemon Essentials. I believe, to make these compatible, I would have to modify the PScreen_Load scripts.

I am a newb to Pokemon Essentials, but I am trying to improve. So if you could explain the steps I would need to take to make this work (at a high level), I would be so thankful.

If anyone would be willing work with me at a lower level, I would love that even more! If someone were able to code me a solution and then walk me through the solution, I would be willing to pay you for your time also! I am rapidly trying to become better at this.

    Thanks!
