chance of that is much higher than SHINY CHIMECHO...

Any pok?mon that just sits there waiting for you to battle is easy to get shiny... it's called this:

save before battle
go into battle
check for shiny-ness
reset if necessary
try, try again

Hey... there are people who uses numerous hours to get themselves shiny metagross, Raqqy, Groudon/Kyogre, starter, castform, and (fossils). With this trick, an average of 80 hours of continously trying will result in the shiny. So to get all of those shiny, need an average of 6x80 which is 480 hours of your time to get them all shiny. This is ignoring getting a favorable personality as well. Another method which takes 30 minutes at max is called gameshark.

Then again, most shinies are ugly, and just a simple trick Gamefreak/Nintendo throw in to make the crowd excited about some completely irrelevant stuff... not to mention that most shinies got screwed up personality...

Congratulations on catching a Groudon! A shiny Groudon at that. I just caught a Groudon today in my Ruby game.
