    Are there any tools available for 3DS map editing? We really need to have some good 3DS ROM hacks. Ultra Sun is my preferred game, but Gen 6 works too. Thanks!

    Not really.
    There was a work-in-progress map editor for gen 6 called CTRMap, but it looks like the author deleted it from github. However you can still find a fork of it here.
