    Has anyone successfully ported Map Effects scripts for Essentials?
    I have tinkered with them for hours on end with no success, and my skills are not
    high enough to re-code them, if even possible?

    I found this script in the RGSS3 forum, but from the looks of it, it is
    backwards compatible, just not with Essentials.
