Maps, Maps, and more maps.

Hello, I'd like to show off some of my early word in making Maps. I was the co-founder for a fan-project that even had its own site called Pokemon Weather Generation. It was going to have two regions, Gohir, which the founder, MetaMew, was working on, and Korrei, the one I was working on:

Korrei:

As you can see, I never got around to making routes >.>;

Extra Regions, Similar to Sevii Islands (Or Seven Islands Region as it's called in Japan)

As you can see, the second one it just southeast of the Sevii Islands, as Birth Island is visable(Thus being able to obtain Deoxys)

This place I made for fun way after I quit the project:

One day, soemone saw my work and wanted me to make a region for them. All they had for what they want is this horrible template:

I decided to take the challenge

First, I separated the Land and Routes to get a feel for the shape:

Then I Built up on the land:

Then, the Routes:

I put the two together and gave him this:

He later added on Towns and Important Locations:

"Forecean" Is what he called it.

And that's about it. No-one else has ever approached me again, and it's been years since I last did a Map >:

That's pretty good. I like the mountain detail keep it up it's looking great! But I might remove some mountains since it seems like the whole map is just full of mountains unless thats how you want it to be ^ ^

WAY too bubbly, they have too much detail, which makes them look wierd.
I think you should cut down a bit on all the small mountains. It'll make them look neater and better.
Though I envy you for your efforts. I think you should use FR map styles aswell though, they're cooler :P

I like having alot of detail XD

Makes it look more map-like, IMO.

The actual maps in the games are too simple for my tastes XP

btw, all of these picks are about 3-4 Years old, none of them recent >.>;

I like making mountainous Regions, too XD Flat ones are too boring and don't breath in enough life U.U

That is a great map... There are so many mountains on the first map.. I can't even count them... Hehe... It looks like a tutorial too...

Eheheh... It wasn't trying to, but now that I look at it, it does XD

Like I said, I like Mountainous regions. All of the Actual Regions thus far, save Sinnoh, weren't mountainous enough to reflect Japan, as each fo the 4 Main Regions are based off of a different part of Japan.
